Agree. There are going to be maybe a dozen teams at 10-2 at the end.Yeah, Iowa's schedule to this point is ranked ~25-30 by most services I've seen. And the problem is that they don't have a whole lot left on the schedule to boost that, so it will likely gradually drop. Iowa is in an unusual situation, in that they don't have any B1G gimmees on the schedule (No Maryland, Rutgers, MSU or PSU), not even Purdue; and with 6 games remaining they also don't have any powerhouses left.
That's why I'm convinced that for Iowa to make the CFP it has to be 11 wins or bust, despite some of the craziness that went on this weekend. Having a 10-2 record with their marquee win being Mich/Wash/NW/Neb isn't going to do it.
Washington in Seattle? By a bajillionThe record is nice, but the Hawks' best win=Mich?
The CFP field of 24 can't come soon enough!Agree. There are going to be maybe a dozen teams at 10-2 at the end.
I have zero confidence that Iowa would be chosen at 10-2.
OSU , IU and UCLA might grab the only slots for BIG.,unless we are 11-1...just win, Hawkeyes!
That’s fpi ratings, analytics don’t work for the hawks. I’m rolling with 14ESPN has us at 25.....what a effing joke.
I think we move up 2 or 3 spots in the AP and coaches poll. Call is lucky 13.

We will leapfrog Mizzou but Bama is going to land ahead of us, bias, blue blood they are still great and they played a great team on the road blah blah.A lot of insane action going on right now. Could be as high as 12.
Should be higher than Texas, Mizzou, Miss St and Alabama. About to see how bad the SEC bias really is.
Huge drops for Alabama, Texas, and Missouri. That doesn't really do much for the pro-SEC bias crowd.![]()

I actually thought we would be ahead of Bama. One spot short on the coaches poll.Who is Iowa jumping to get to 13?
Bama dropped from #6 to #13 after two back-to-back losses. I wouldn't call falling 7 spots after two straight losses a "huge" drop.Huge drops for Alabama, Texas, and Missouri. That doesn't really do much for the pro-SEC bias crowd.![]()
It's a zero sum game. These SEC 4-2 teams are losing to each other. Somebody has to lose, right? The Big10 has only itself to blame by shatting the bed in nonconference play. Their teams at 4-2 all lost in pre-conference with the exception of Nebraska. This is as much about a weak Big10 as it is a strong SEC. 4-2 Oregon, 3-4 Penn St., and 4-2 Michigan are supposed to be Big10 standard bearers and I'm sure you'll agree that none of them deserve to be ranked today. Minnesota is 4-2 and they got their azz kicked at home by Mississippi St and Purdue. Wisconsin at 4-2 got blasted by Mississippi St and lost by 10 to UCLA and their best win is against a bad Penn St team. Nebraska only has 2 losses but their best win is against a horrible MSU team. Tell me which 2 loss Big10 team has a resume that's as good as those 2 loss SEC teams that you're complaining about and I'll listen.Bama dropped from #6 to #13 after two back-to-back losses. There are 5 teams in the top-25 with 2 losses. Everyone else is either undefeated or has 1 loss. Any guess on which conference all five of those 2-loss teams are from?
But you're right. No SEC bias at all. Lol.
Probably, but they DID beat the Entitled Ones.BYU at 2 is a ******* joke.
Same sh*t, different year. Heard all of this same stuff last year when Vandy and Mizzou and others were being artificially propped up in the rankings because of their SEC badge, then they get into CFP and bowls against other conferences and they get splattered. It's a zero sum game.
