This team’s growth has been visibly observable the last two weeks. I agree with coach Campbell. Also, Rocco just needs to continue to grow. If Rocco can continue to grow, he’ll be able to finish his 10 year college career with a .500 season! I realize that’s a big IF, but watching this team continue to grow has been truly enjoyable, and I’m confident they’ll continue to make us all proud as they grow. Grow grow grow. Thank you coach Campbell!

Rocco will continue to grow. Maybe by the end of the season he'll hit 6'0".

Does Becht have some sort of incriminating information on Campbell? Nothing else explains this shat.

"Never a consideration" is quite a thing to say about a replacing a player when you are 0-4 in the big ten. If you actually give a **** about your job, wouldn't everything be under "consideration"? The most unfortunate thing about this disaster of a year is that Campbell is tacitly telling our university and fanbase that being loyal to these ISU guys is more important than winning or preparing for future success. How else do you explain not playing Manske at this point? We likely have to negotiate a contract with Manske next year, correct???? Be good to know if he can play?

He's not going to bench Becht because he knows every agent will question if he'd bench their player if the team struggles. To move on from Becht, MC has to make the move during a game (today would have been the time after the second pick) and whatever QB he goes to would have to do extremely well

Questions I didn't hear:
1 - Are you concerned that opposing teams convert so many 3rd & long situations?
2 - Are you concerned that the defense can't stop anyone in the 2nd half?
3 - Are there any plans to target players with more athleticism to play in the front 7? (Rojas is the exception)

Not many agents have qbs that are this bad

I’m sure HCMC made a promise and commitment to RB and his parents that he will not be benched if he followed him to Happy Valley. It’s likely that simple.

Cool, so hes more loyal the becht family than his employer?
All coaches are doing this now--it's why we rarely see QBs benched. Whittingham wanted to bench Underwood after week 1 and had to wait until the half of game 6--and he's still going to get crap for it because of the money being paid to Underwood

Glad we don’t care about winning

I prefer to think that Campbell views Becht as the only option based on what he sees of his QBs in practice.

How much is maske going to cost heading into next year? If not for us, for anyone, and what has he shown? Lets even forget loyalties to Becht. Does this staff want Manske around and what is it going to cost? Is he worth it, how would one know?

Manske shouldn't be overly expensive but might be much more expensive if he plays
In theory, the staff should know what they have in him based on practice--the fact he's not playing should tell us a lot

Conner ebel plays, and Hansen gets more carries than anyone? Are you suggesting Manske doesnt play because of meritocracy alone?

I'm suggesting Ebel and Hansen play because they're the best we have. I don't even think it's debatable any more than Hansen is by far our best behind a horrible line. I'm guessing your implication is that he's playing Iowa State guys which isn't true.
