I just wish she had that epiphany before she graced us with her presence.Good for Julie. She realized athletics administration wasn't her thing & moved on. She has made a successful career for herself in real estate.
TBD on ZinnHermann: 100% DEI hire
Zinn: 100% best candidate hire
The ironic thing was that they had to apologize to candidate Sean Frazier, who by all accounts would have been a home run hire, for going ballistic with LGBT questions and getting hostile during the questioning. This was all in the wake of the Tyler Clementi incident, and as always, Rutgers went way overboard with their response, all the while discriminating against the most qualified candidate to hire a lesbian with huge skeletons in her closet.Hermann: 100% DEI hire
Zinn: 100% best candidate hire
She wasn't the problem. The lesbian who commandeered the process and shoehorned her in was.I just wish she had that epiphany before she graced us with her presence.
What better AD candidate you think we could have gotten? We are literally the least successful P4 AD.TBD on Zinn
I don't know. Just think it is too early to judge Zinn. I like her and am optimistic. Time will tell. What better AD candidate you think we could have gotten? We are literally the least successful P4 AD.
That was Kate Sweeney. The only good thing to come out of the debacle, Kate has a lifetime banishment to the corner and has no more pull. You'll never see her as the head or on any committee of any search again. She wasn't the problem. The lesbian who commandeered the process and shoehorned her in was.
Had the pleasure of playing in a foursome with her. Longest 4 hours of my life. “Enough about me let’s talk about me”. She loves herself tremendously. That was Kate Sweeney. The only good thing to come out of the debacle, Kate has a lifetime banishment to the corner and has no more pull. You'll never see her as the head or on any committee of any search again.
Couldn’t bail. It was a charity outing for buddies dad. She was a last minute fill in for a great guy.I would have bailed.

If I remember correctly, the reason Barchi let Sweeney hijack the process is because Rice called one of his players a "f-gg-t" during practice and Barchi was terrified that ESPN and NJ local media was going to accuse him and the school of being anti-gay. So he let Sweeney do whatever she wanted in hopes they'd leave him alone and move on to the next dope. The ironic thing was that they had to apologize to candidate Sean Frazier, who by all accounts would have been a home run hire, for going ballistic with LGBT questions and getting hostile during the questioning. This was all in the wake of the Tyler Clementi incident, and as always, Rutgers went way overboard with their response, all the while discriminating against the most qualified candidate to hire a lesbian with huge skeletons in her closet.

Rutgers official writes apology after hostile questioning of AD candidate, though Hermann let off hook
ABOUT LAST KNIGHT: Sean Frazier (right), one of the two finalists for the Rutgers Athletic Director position ultimately filled by Julie Hermann (inset), was the victim of an “argumentative” line of…nypost.com
Those butches stick together. She wasn't the problem. The lesbian who commandeered the process and shoehorned her in was.
I knew when I heard Sweeney say "we did it!" we were in trouble. Those butches stick together.
She's already accomplished more from a fund-raising perspective than the last four ADs.TBD on Zinn
As do straight males. Those butches stick together.
Easy there, not all lesbians are "butches." I know some that would knock many men's socks off if they saw them walking down the street alone. No need to generalize. Those butches stick together.
Yep, a good number of circle jerks on this forum. As do straight males.
Can’t use that term. Someone will get very jealous! Haven’t seen that genius post in a while.Yep, a good number of circle jerks on this forum.

Don’t hate the player, hate the administration that hired herI just wish she had that epiphany before she graced us with her presence.
I believe it was “sp true”So true.
@bac2therac was the President of her fan club.I recall most of the usual loud mouths around here talking about how Julie “gets it”.
HUH???She could have been fine elsewhere - she was a horrible fit, neither media nor politically savvy, and for RU, those skills are as important as running the department.
Probably her worst decision was undermining Flood - in hindsight, he may have been successful with the proper support (and Saquon honoring his commitment - I don’t blame him for running from the dumpster fire).
HUH???
She saw that Flood had lost control of the ship and wanted to get rid of him. In hindsight, the program overall may have been in much better shape if people listened and didn't interfere.
But yeah, she undermined Flood...SMDH (and this is coming from someone that hated her as AD).
He just follows Sarkisian around since they met in the pros. He's got an OC in name only title, Sarkisian calls all the play. It's why you don't hear his name mentioned for coaching openings. He's a good OL coach but nothing more than that.He was doomed when he lost his pledge class at the last minute and spiraled from there - rumors were that he was going to be fired and the decommits happened. It was a top 25 class.
At this point, he’s got a more accomplished resume than most who have been here. And he’s an ace recruiter. If he had proper support, he could have been decent. But where he’s been since, clearly hes well respected.
