Talented O, yet their QB is shorter and tries to do too much IMO...no power read option like Underwood and no Smith at WR this week. Iowa will play 4-2-5 with Buff marking Williams. Phillips and Heck are the picks to click tonight..

2 very similar teams with good defenses and marginal offenses. I see another very typical Iowa outing that leans heavily on the defense. Neither team breaks the 21 point barrier without turnovers leading to easy scores or special teams TD's. I'll put my optimist hat on and go with 20-17 Iowa.
all i know is that in the second half iowa's defense will get shredded by many long drives and game will come down to whether iowa's offense can score any points at all in the 4th quarter

West coast Friday night game? Yeah, we are t winning this game. We will put up a good fight but fall short. Somewhere in the range of 21-17. But fear not my fellow Hawkeye brethren. Iowa proceeds to win out the regular season and finishes with a 10-2 record. We will then spend the entire off season discussing what a special season it could have been had heck not thrown that interception on the final drive.

hope you are right. there’s little to no film of phillips at iowa, would be cool if he emerges as a huge new ground weapon sort of like when wadley came out of nowhere after canzeri got injured
Vegas has the Huskies -3.5. Vegas knows. That said, the Gophers went out to Washington on a Friday night and beat them pretty handily.
Vegas must be blind at times dont see Wash as a decent team they looked challenged on offense, I jumped on that 3.5 and took Iowa on money line
