That’s not an excuse. That’s reality. Noah may outright suck but measuring him by what he does when he’s hurt is lame and needy.the biggest problem with making excuses is that once you start....it becomes easier and easier to do.

Has zero to do with grading him while he’s hurtAt any level of ball noah wasnt uk ready
if he wasn't from here we wouldn't have looked at him
Agree, but him being hurt will only lower his abilities not helpHas zero to do with grading him while he’s hurt
he's hurt, he's played out of position, he's not in shape, he's young, he isnt being used right.......always something other than the obvious. That’s not an excuse. That’s reality. Noah may outright suck but measuring him by what he does when he’s hurt is lame and needy.
They will be fine. Long and quick. Length and size at c. Maturity and strength at the wings. This team will score. Probably average in the 85 ppg range.
How many will they give up is the question.
There is no question they won’t be a good rebounding team. The defense will be bad. Just how bad no one knows yet.
Been saying for awhile now, don't underestimate him. He could end up being the best player on this team. He's a tall guard with impressive skills, late bloomer going into a sophomore leap. I too like the multi ball handler backcourt especially when you have Milan at the 3. It can lead to a lot of penetrate and kicks and the perfect setup for Milan. I think this team could be very good offensively.Didn’t realize he’s 6’6”. Smooth. Good ball handler. I like having 2 ball handling guards like he and Diallo on the floor.
That is what he primarily does. He’s certainly not a creator or facilitator.Pretty much anyone who shoots a lot of threes is going to have the majority of them be catch and shoot. Momcilovic has clearly shown the ability to move and create shots while making them at a high rate however. Just calling him a catch and shoot guy is inaccurate.
No. They relied on talent. When was that, when Rick was here? Because Cals one and dones always relied on potential

Well when we had a coach that could recruit he didn't get a look. Noah caught maybe the biggest break in life with the Pope hire. I wonder how much money he made just from Mitch hiring Pope. I'm not mad at Noah tho. Heck I think he can help any team.At any level of ball noah wasnt uk ready

Maybe the camera should show another player at the time he shoots. He's currently injured, he shot lights out all summer prior to injury per available media sources.
He wasn’t good on the last 21 for sure. I think it had more to do with the sporadic play than the defenses. I think he got caught between rushing his shot when he got out there and trying to let the game come to him.How was he the last 21 when the defenses were actual defenses…and not Tennessee Tech? Hes an absolute one trick pony that sucked at his one trick when it mattered. I want him to succeed, but it won’t cloud my thinking. He needs to be better.
He didn't have to rush anything. The shots he was getting were literally H-O-R-S-E shots and he was still missing them. He's honestly just not been good enough to play at the SEC level. He's had one good game in two years at this level. If he had the right coaching to develop his play, I fully believe he could be good enough to be a contributor. I don't believe he has that.He wasn’t good on the last 21 for sure. I think it had more to do with the sporadic play than the defenses. I don’t think he’ll be a big contributor this year but I do think the kid can shoot but you’re right, if he does happen to get 10 minutes per game this year and shoots 30% then it is what is.
In Noah’s defense, he’s really a middling D2 player, that was brought in by Pope, for the same reason Pelphrey was brought in by Pope…This. Noah’s career shooting percentages stink, 33% on threes and only 39% from the field overall. And that ain’t for lack of opportunity, he’s had two full seasons and plenty of open looks in which he could’ve proven himself.
So why people here keep talking like he’s a deadeye shooter is beyond me.

Please. Noah’s issue is not the lack of talent “around” him, instead it’s the lack of talent “in” him. And contrary to your claim, he has gotten plenty of open looks, he just hasn’t knocked them down. At least not against legit competition, he DID shoot well against the cupcakes at the beginning of last season, but then couldn’t hit anything when we started playing higher level defenses in SEC play.Imo the real reason is because the teams hes been on cant let him be who he needs to be.
He really needs to be a spot up shooter. The lack of talent around him causes zero defense collapse and kick. So he never gets an open look.
He's only ever going to be a niche player but he isn't even allowed to do that.

I must say, I think I’ve figured out your bias from watching your posts in recent months. You’re the “always side with the in-stater” guy. I recall on the football threads you were the guy claiming Boley was more talented than Minchey (and now the ONLY one still critical of Minchey), and now you’re the guy trying to pin Noah’s struggles on his teammates.
You quickly contradicted yourself here. You say Noah's problems are not related to having a lack creators to play with and he had plenty of open looks. You then go on to say he shot well against cupcakes (because he had open looks) but struggled when the defenses got better meaning he was no longer getting those same open looks which is largely due to a lack of creators.Please. My lord man…Go look at the shots he took last year. He wasn’t taken guarded 3s.Imo the real reason is because the teams hes been on cant let him be who he needs to be.

That’s a fair observation. And, to be honest, that thought did pass through my head when I reread my post right right after it posted. I see you caught it too.You quickly contradicted yourself here. Oh trust me hes gonna catch it. Hes a literal type of guy. No room for human error with him. Im trying to find out where his church is so I can get naked and bow down to him while he preaches Paul's word. That’s a fair observation. But the gist of it is still true. He’s had plenty of open looks in his career. And his shooting did get progressively worse as the competition improved …and, yes, likely because of better defense equaling fewer looks. But just because he got “fewer” open looks against SEC competition does not mean he didn’t get any.
