Spencer leading Iowa to a National Title and likely 2 if not for covid was irrelevant to PSU? Please that kid has taken more fire from this board than any other wrestler. Ever since he spurned PSU a good majority have been obsessed with tearing down him and his family. I am not even sure there is a close 2nd.

Why is a title always followed by a make believe "likely 2 (with appropriate rationalization)"? He helped Iowa win 1 team title and he was probably the best Iowa wrestler in the Brands era, with McDonough and Metcalf pretty close.

The only "fire" he took that I recall was from the wild hyperbole about him from the Iowa crowd and Flo and the incessant coverage of him from Flo. Oh, and the glasses thing, which is some funny sh*t even today. It was one title, just a little blip in the timeline. Penn State has been just fine without him, thank you.
