MaCarthy was a great example of a mediocre player on a top college team with lots of talent around him. He never looked like a first rounder and was more proof the NFL isn't really that great at drafting . Great WRs not only mean more catches and TDs but less INTs because the great WRs know how to fight and win toss-up balls.

Corum on Michigan had 27 TDs the year of the NC. Michigan's OL was epic with all of the 5 guys All-BIG

The Giants weren't gettting an obvious quality starter from another team just as the season is getting underway. What was available was various versions of what they ultimately got. So we'll see. We all knew the situation when Dart went down.

I think it's a good gamble for a 5th rounder. I much would have preferred trying to talk Jimmy Garoppolo out of retirement and kick the tires on him to see what he's got left. But this is pretty much the best we can expect at this point, with Jameis looking like he's lost it.

Nice try, but I agree that it was the injuries and surgeries. The injuries more than anything made him unplayable. If he had just the normal declination in skills that receivers get at his age, he certainly could have still produced, if not at the all-world level. He had a ton of different skills. But multiple injuries took any chance of that away.

What a turnaround for the D. Thought they were going to get destroyed giving up two TD's on the 1st two drives. Fast forward, 2 turnovers and nothing but 3 and outs since.

Winston even showing some patience and smarts on the Fields TD. Now another TD pass. We're going to the Superbowl! ;) Going for two so early and chasing points because a computer told you to was stupid.

A switch flipped on D. They’re playing like the 86 Giants. But Jameis man….six point swing at the end of the half with the INT (which should have been an FG at a minimum) and the Cardinals 60 yd FG.

Reese reminds me of Jessie Armstead.

Such a Giants way to end the half. They had an easy 3 for them, only to turn it over and have the Cards kicker hit a career long 60 yarder as time expired. That may end up costing them the game

I think that's about it for Jameis. No one can even figure out who he was throwing to on that int.. How fast can they get JJ McCarthy up to speed?

Giants win and philthadelphia lose! That makes for a great Sunday.

That was a horrible PI call on Banks that set up the end of the game.

Hopefully not. He already came out and showed his immaturity again. He was saying the Giants only signed him as a PR stunt agreeing with a post on social media. He was WR 4 or 5 and does not contribute on special teams. Time for him to retire
