Depends how currently ranked teams do. We'd have to leap over a bunch of teams.

I’d think so, unless the take away is that Penn State sucks. Which could also be true too.
I do think PSU sucks but they were ranked last week and we are 3-1 with a last minute road loss to the national champion and kicked the crap out of 2 power 4 teams and well as a recent FCS national champion. And we did this on prime time network TV.

Just hope we can get healthy and TCB against Ball State to keep it going.

#25 Missouri will probably lose. #23 UCLA plays #14 Oregon though who knows on that one, UCLA has looked better than Oregon. We’ve got Wisconsin at #26 who will probably beat MSU.

I'm sure it would be helpful for ticket sales, but let's see after the Rutgers game. It's too early to know if Penn State is any good, but they sure weren't yesterday.

I think if a couple teams ranked in the bottom 10 of the top 25 lose, we should be in for sure. Especially due to our dominating performance. We just need to stay healthy and we will have a great season!

Mizzou (#25) plays Florida (#8) today, so it's a pretty good bet the #25 slot will be vacated.

Wake Forest is going to be ahead of NU. They just pasted Stanford 57-3 after beating Louisville.

Objectively, I think Minny's back to back conference wins over then-ranked Washington and now Michigan steal some of our thunder, especially after Colorado is almost certain to get walloped for the third week in a row later this evening.

Looking ahead, though...we should be favored in our next three, while Minny catches a break with Purdue next week but then has Iowa, Indiana, and UCLA.

Minn is a tossup with us. They might lose all 3 in a row after Purdue. P might beat them too

Should be about equal. Washington road win decent but they’re really not good, pedestrian win over 1-3 WSU, 2 point win over Utah St. Between Mich and PSU I can’t decide who is worse than their recent baseline but we destroyed PSU all 60 minutes while they battled it out for a 1 score win. Mich has had more publicized problems this year than PSU.

Enough teams in the bottom tier of the top 25 are going to lose to get us at least the 25 spot, perhaps higher.
We had all of one vote after last week. We would have to jump over about 15 other teams to get into the top 25 and many of them won,

Here is the list of others receiving votes

Others Receiving Votes (AP Poll)
    • Wisconsin Badgers — 102 points
    • Duke Blue Devils — 101 points
    • Penn State Nittany Lions — 98 points
    • Wake Forest Demon Deacons — 88 points
    • Virginia Tech Hokies — 86 points
    • Michigan Wolverines — 54 points
    • Pittsburgh Panthers — 52 points
    • Nebraska Cornhuskers — 36 points
    • Louisville Cardinals — 25 points
    • Cincinnati Bearcats — 20 points
    • James Madison Dukes — 10 points
    • Arizona Wildcats — 8 points
    • Minnesota Golden Gophers — 7 points

That said, David Braun’s Wildcats are 16-1 when leading at the half (only loss was Duke).
The flip side isn't as sweet as Braun hasn't had many comeback wins training or tied at the half....he has 19 losses to date. He has 22 wins so......
