he is a hammer on top though and that could help his gas tank or at least level the playing field
We see it every year. Very talented guys making big cuts struggling at season's end because they are worn out and don't have gas tanks.
PSU fans: John Smith killed his guys with hard cuts HAHAHAHAHA
Also PSU fans: our guys can cut to any weight we fancy with no issues, especially guys with concussion histories, because reasons.
I don’t know what to think of that. I really do enjoy using wrestlestat for when I need to see a wrestler’s match history, but I’m not sure it’s worth $40 a year. The rankings have been pretty wonky every now and then. Many times we’ll see a guy ranked ahead of a guy who just beat him.
I can’t blame them for wanting to sell their services, but i’m also not sure if it’s a service that many people will actually pay for? I think I’ll be waiting a few months and seeing how much I actually miss the stuff behind a paywall before deciding.

Smalls put it out there a couple months ago that Kasak might be going for 149. Go complain to him.
I wonder if the $40 version will get rid of the annoying pop up ads. That alone would make it worth it.
Maybe I will test the bounds of ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and Claude on such wrestling things, and find which is best while they are still free ... not for long, you can bank on that.

AGREED BUT...would this be a BIG cut? he wrestles 157 and 149 (150) is 7.9 pounds. He is on the shorter side at 157. He carries a lot of muscle. I am not sure this would be a hard cut for Kasak

He isn't cutting 8 pounds, he is cutting 8 more pounds. He isn't a small 157 pounder, at 157 he looks sturdy. My bet is his walking around weight is a lean 170 or a little more.
Who knows though. He knows his 165 and 174 outcomes, so maybe he has been transforming his body for a while. Even if he has i don't see Kasak's 149 pound gas tank matching up with SVN 149 gas tank.
there are not many gas tanks that will match up with SVNs.... but his stength would and that seems to be what gives SVN headaches... good point about 8 more pounds however. Hes not tall so I dont think he is dropping from 170s... but you are correct he could easily be coming down from 165-68 ish
