i based my opinion on your defense mostly off returning starters and the fact that iowa is a developmental program, also didn't improve bigly in the portal...you guys had a legit qb competition and brown looked good yesterday against a bad fcs team, will be different on the road against this defense..Michigan's offense right now is in the embroyonic stage, every game is a mystery, lol..Honestly I think that Iowa is better offensively AND defensively than Michigan right now and if this game were being played in Kinnick that Iowa would win by multiple scores. I just don't know how our QB is going to respond to a big game in a hostile environment.
Your friend says the defense isn't as good as last year, and the jury is still out because like most of the country they only played one decent opponent, but they do lead the country in points allowed and yardage allowed and have only allowed one touchdown through 3 games. Michigan's offense isn't very good. I expect them to struggle mightily in this game and a score similar to what we saw vs ISU wouldn't surprise me at all.
