I just gotta know what happened in that EF vs Grimsley game that kept that as tight as it was?

I mean we scrimmaged Grimsley (and PD for that matter), but can’t really read much into that.

It was a weird game, rain long lightning delay that stopped the rhythm. Grimsley fumbled 4 times inside East's 20 yard line going in for scores. Grimsley also just didn't play well and sloppy. Probably the worst game they've played in 5-6 years. One of those games. It will be a blowout if they meet in the playoffs

Top 5 in 7A definitely will be interesting to watch in the playoffs. I believe Lake Norman is in the top 5. Maybe top 3. Going to be fun year of watching HS football.

I think it’s maybe the most competitive. There’s not a whole lot that separates a lot of the good teams
