Another impressive outing by Cam Schlittler. Tonight was his 20th start this year where he gave up one run or less.

Judge was 2 for 4 last night in his second game back after 99 dayys off. The guy just continues to amaze.At last...the Captain returns.
That rookie that pitched for the US in the WBC...Nolan McLean.The debate for Cy Young is heating up. Cam or Sonny. But we all know who should win:
Some performance on his first day back with the big club. Three hits, one of them a grand slam....five rbis for the game.
And a curtain call.

As someone told me the other day, the mets could have finished in last place without spending so much money.
Haha, truth. I had a terrible day prior, but at least it ended on a high note in watching the replay.
The fact that it was the Mets definitely made it better than any other win over bottom dweller.
We already know the Mets are "amazin" in May. If only they could remember that the season keeps going.

One other observation ...Ramos is worthless.
Total wasted acquisition at the deadline.
Of course, it was necessary when the team needed a catcher and bullpen help.

It looks like the Yankees will start the playoffs hosting Boston at Yankee Stadium with a best-of-three series.
Judge back to the IL. 10 day. Definitely possible we don’t see him anymore this year, including postseason.
The lesson here, and with Stanton...screw those 10 yr contracts.
7 years, maximum.
And even if we see him in the postseason, which version of Judge will we see ?
Doubtful we will see the MVP version again this year.
Can't see any way you can trust Cole against Boston in a 3 game series.
