Thought about this many times. I figured I wasn’t alone. Feel free to express your view and any reasoning to mark this hallowed day. It’s so good I don’t think there’s a wrong answer.

What a series! I picked Currahee because it's when they got rid of Sobel for Winters.

My house is 15-20 minutes from the final resting places of Dick Winters and Joe Toye. A lot of PA backgrounds in that story.
I have stopped at Bergstrasse Cemetery more than once to pay my respects.
And yes, there are many PA guys represented in addition, including Harry Welsh, Bill Guarniere and Babe Heffron.

I picked Bastogne because my great uncle was killed in The Battle of the Bulge, which made me captivated about what those men had to endure during that battle.

Bump, as today is the 25th anniversary of the show premiering on HBO.

AND tonight is the premiere of “Band of Brothers: Legacy” examining everything the show has meant to a lot of people, again on HBO/HBOMAX.

Extremely difficult to answer. Both the book and the series, within the first chapter, hooked me so I voted for chapter 1.

"Why We Fight" was one of the most difficult 60 minutes of tv/fil watching i ever fought through... until the part of movie "Nuremberg" where they show actual film footage of the camps

My wife has gotten into WWII and we started watching BoB. She usually falls a slrrp during anything we watch after dinner. No so with BoB. We are three episodes in. She was upset that Albert Blithe did not survive. I showed her this article:

Just watched the legacy show; behind the scenes show where they talked to the actors and described the process of making the show. It was amazing absolutely amazing! The respect and affection the actors had for the real soldiers was truly touching to see. The actors really cared about how they portrayed the soldiers and about their opinion of what they did so the actors put on their absolute best performances. And the old soldiers were real characters and you can see the scars and weight of their experiences just below the surface. They all had the proverbial 1000 yard stare when talking about true traumas
