Well we made it 3 games before people started doing zapruder film breakdowns of who is clapping for who and falling for edited clips of people supposedly not passing to CC.
Okay I get it, but I saw the same thing live and you could tell they couldn't have cared less when Clark scored. Stewie or somebody makes a three and their up doing the three point sign. Watch all the interactions as they move on and off the court. Its as obvious as the nose on your face the two Aces players and Copper can't stand Clark and avoid her as much as possible. I totally agree the clips of them not passing to her were heavily edited. Even Reese generally gave Clark the ball to advance. In truth though the three players I mentioned are almost never on the floor with Clark, and for good reason I'd imagine.
Wonder if CC cares as much about who starts a we do. I'm more pissed that some of them won't pass her the ball....i also don't get the Chelsea hate coming from some folks..JMHO
And who exactly do you think are the biggest ones who won't pass her the ball? The few minutes the Vegas guards are out there with CC she might as well just go sit in a corner. I get Bird thinking they need some veteran presence on the team. but there is a divide on this team and it starts with the two Aces guards. I hope by the Olympics we have Miles and Mitchell on this squad instead. This team would look totally different and more cohesive then what were watching right now. Its also interesting that she plays the two together and yet you rarely see Clark and Boston out there together.
This can't be. Its only us old white guys who think this nonsense with players in the league and Clark is some really bad reality TV.
Both Young and Copper went from making around $250k/year in 2024 -- which put them among the highest paid players in the W -- to making around $1.2 mill in 2026.

It's mostly true though.
Most of them are like 14 year old girls with their petty jealousy.
Chelsea Gray is this national team cycle's Diana Taurasi. Her play would better fit an Alumni Tournament.

Crazy coaches and maulers. Sounds like the W. Oh, I hope we get a no nonsense, common sense, enforcer of the rules Commissioner after the first of the year or whenever they announce it. Players married to or having affairs with other players. Bizarre behaviors in the public spotlight. I think if we get a commissioner who actually knows what's going on, we'll see some players retire. No more of this "I don't like it here. I don't want to play" BS while under contract. The fans want a good product with integrity and accountability to restore confidence in the league. Really? Your watching this , and think this team is operating as a team, as one? You can clearly see what Young said. I noticed it during the game and then Coppers half hearted response. Why would she feel the need to say you'd better clap. Have you watched their interactions with Clark before games and after warming up and walking off. The level of resentment from a couple of these women is off the charts.
The new Commissioner is bound to be an upgrade but he/she will have no influence on fan conduct.
This league especially attracts conspiracy theorists, soap opera addicts, and grown men behaving like menstruating teenage girls. Throw in a few well known political activists and you get never ending sideshows where even a facial expression or hand clap can generate long paragraphs of outrage. A Commissioner isn’t going to stop that bullsshit
I didn't mention fan conduct or the other items you listed. My rant was directed at the League Office and the players. I do however agree with the "Upgrade."
Because they know the CC fanbase will freak out if someone doesn't celebrate every single basket she makes, regardless if CC does the same for her teammates. Newsflash...she doesn't.
There were complaints that the commissioner didn't reach out to players when they got hurt. They don't want a commissioner, they want a babysitter.

Right. like you think they care what the fan base thinks. Answer this. Does this team act, or play like they're connected an d playing together? We should have run Italy off the floor, like we did in earlier this year. This whole two different groups thing isn't working. As for Clark does she share the ball feeding her team mates on the floor whether its Reese or Copper, or Boston? Does she allow whatever her feelings are to affect her play on the floor?
I would like to see Clark drive to the basket when her three isn't falling.
I'd agree that she needs to look more for her offense, whether it be from the mid range or driving. Don't know what "role" Lawson has decided for her or if that's a factor.
Or maybe because it's just kind of the "team" thing to do?
They resent her for her global popularity. It's pretty obvious by now. But keep trying to convince yourself they don't. And they'll keep cashing those big checks, thanks again to CC and the oceans of new fans/viewers/ticketholders/merch buyers she's brought to the league.
More??? She's shooting like 30% from the field and only 2 players have taken more shots than her.

She's been greatly disliked by her peers since at least her freshman year of high school...I don't think "global popularity" was the reason.
The other players outside of Bueckers, Citron, and Reese are denying her the ball with Lawson standing right there observing this. You don't deny the best PG in the W the ball, and play her off the ball. Why would you play a pitcher in the outfield?
Add Kara Lawson to the group of Stephanie White, Christie Sides, the Fever management and WNBA execs out to disrespect or otherwise ruin Caitlin Clark.
Yeah her Iowa teammates like Gabbie, Kate, Jada, etc. clearly hate her. That's why they went to the WNBA draft and attend Fever games to support her. Pure hate. Just like her Fever teammates like AB, Lexie, Sophie, Raven, Timpson, etc. Lol. I know when Raven and Timpson refer to her as "my GOAT" it's coming from a place of great dislike. Duh.
The black former players like SS and Tina Charles, the WNBA pundits like McNutt/Brunson/Champion/etc., and the current players like Angel, Kahlea, Dijonai, Howard, A'ja, etc. resent her because as African Americans they believe basketball is their sport, and the fact that a skinny white girl from Iowa has come along and established herself as the face of the WNBA and the most popular female basketball player in the world drives them absolutely insane. That's why they get in her face and go out of their way to land physical cheap shots on her. They're like a bunch of 14-year-old girls who hate that one cuter girl that all the boys are after.
I absolutely think it's a female thing. Aside from maybe a few players like Isaiah Thomas, you did not see this same level of petty jealousy and hate towards MJ when he came along and did basically the same thing for the NBA that CC has done for the W. When CC is done playing I'll be done watching and it will be fun to see the W fall back into the same level of obscurity with barely anyone watching as it had before she came along.
There was NOTHING to this extent when she was in college, and not even close , at least not until after her junior year , when she was starting to get all of these major endorsement deals, and threatening all of the records.
Alot of it has to do with money and timing as well. Clark was in the right place at the right time as NIL and endorsement deals came into play for college players. Then you had this college player in her last two years at Iowa, (not Uconn, or S Carolina) making more money then they'd made in their whole careers, (Remember that Uconn and S Carolina make up a huge portion of the WNBA). Then she was absolutely trashing the NCAA record book. Yet people like to add that they weren't jealous. Then she gets drafted as the first player in the draft, and all of this attention gets focused on her. (Because of her exploits in college). While she's getting the rookie salary she's still making more off the court in a year them most of them have made in their careers. She sets, season and WNBA records as a rookie, makes the All Star team as a starter, ROTY, and first team all WNBA. Still no jealousy out there, though right. I mean I get why a lot of this has happened, but denying this is a real thing is beyond ignorant. On top of this, Clark didn't ask to be in this spotlight, and NO player with a brain would have turned down these financial opportunities when they presented themselves. In the same way I don't hold Reese in a bad light for being smart enough to take advantage financially from her wearing the black hat in the whole Clark vs Reese controversy in college. She's made a bunch of money off this. Probably way more then many WNBA vets.
No because the lane is a kill zone in FIBA. Shes figured that part out.. she does have a midrange game which should be a zone killer.. but yeah, agreed.
You can't see them denying Clark the ball? You watching the games?
