They need to allow all 2022 seniors no matter if they signed or not. And then ban it from ever happening again

Also Unless every conference bans these players than All those players will still be eligible under unfair rules and competition .

pretty much don’t see this sticking in anyway and it’s an awfully stupid hill for NCAA to die on

But that’s the only year since before Covid that players didn’t have at least 5 years to play I believe. Could be wrong about that but they should have just grandfathered them in and saved face and not have to deal with the self inflicted headache.

I saw a quote that said, "college sports are for college athletes."

So I guess if they're enrolled in a college they're technically a "college athlete."

Should be a fun few weeks of courts and lawyers and stuff.

No. The NCAA declared him ineligible and was overruled by a court with an injunction which allowed him to play. Another court subsequently ruled differently upon appeal and Bediako was done.

What exactly does the SEC find itself needing to defend here?

LSU is out of control. It needs to be addressed. Having guys suiting up for NFL rosters in the preseason returning to college is nonsense. Same holds true for basketball guys.
