SEC Follows the Big Ten here with NFL players. A twist — the SEC adds pro basketball, too.

I think we need to think about this from a class of 2022 stand point. The NCAA unfairly is trying to bar the class of 2022 from doing 5&5 while every other class will get. So the class of 2022 under the assumption that there was no 5th year signed pro contracts as any smart individual would do with no other option. Now the NCAA is being petty even though they know the only reason 2022 guys signed pro deals is because they didn’t know they could go back

They need to allow all 2022 seniors no matter if they signed or not. And then ban it from ever happening again

Also Unless every conference bans these players than All those players will still be eligible under unfair rules and competition .

pretty much don’t see this sticking in anyway and it’s an awfully stupid hill for NCAA to die on

Nope it’s unfair and probably illegal, they will get sued so fast and have to let them in
The one thing about these lawsuits, including the previous one that got Mitchell temporarily eligible, is that all it takes is one judge ordering a Stay and the eligibility goes away. Not permanently. Just until a final ruling can be made months down the line. The NCAA, and the SEC if they so choose, can drag this out in court and keep a lot of players off the field/court even if they eventually win their cases.

The next court date in Louisville will be huge for Mark's case.

1) He Did NOT declare for NBA draft and fail to withdraw.. He was a senior out of eligibility so didn't need to withdraw..
2) He Did NOT sign a contract with an NBA/G-League team
3) He was NOT listed on an NBA/G-League Roster
He played for Denver.

Thank you.
KSR is hysterical. I seriously think they are a reality Radio Show. I would guarantee the biggest driver in this is LSU proactively shopping for guys on NFL contracts that they think may get cut, and Will Wade signing guys that have been out of CBB for OVER A YEAR playing professionally, trying to come back (RJ Luis).

You have to draw the line somewhere. A dude like Luis has no business back in college basketball. It's making the sport romper room.

Everyone is saying something different it’s impossible to follow right now.
Tons of people smarter than you and more in the know say one thing but “derr you hurt my feelings so I’m going to post ai google slop” is not a good comeback nor actually evidence or proof.

so

For the love of god man shut up why do you want Mitchell to be ineligible so bad?

Your like a bipolar weirdo one second your rejoicing for Mitchell than the next you read a local news article saying he signed and now your convinced that’s the only true source.

You can’t challenge a fact to a fist fight outside your house lmao
