He’s here 18 hours a day going from fight to fight. It’s sad.Did you just sarcastically argue against your own made up argument?

Gonna just push back on semantics. They both were rulings. Rulings on motions. They were not judgments or dispositive opinions. You mean the judge in Colorado who got her Temporary Restraining Order (not ruling) overturned today by the Federal Court in Colorado by granting a Stay (also not a ruling) to the NCAA? That one that no longer gives players a fifth year and only the state courts TRO's currently do?
Not trying to argue with you so don't take it that way, just trying to provide current and up to date information as many people are confused or don't have all the info with things moving so quickly. The SEC transfer rule date (May 1st for MBB) has existed since instant transfer eligibility was created. Yes, players transfer SEC school to SEC school all the time, but no one, until this year, has ever been allowed to do so in the SEC AFTER the cutoff date for their sport. There is currently NO federal law granting players a fifth year to bind the SEC's hands via anti-trust with the Colorado TRO falling.
All that said, I fully expect anti-trust lawsuits to get filed IF and only IF Sankey and the SEC try to enforce their inter conference transfer rule.

Oopsy daisyDelusional ky fans never learn Pope will whiff on Mitchell too. We need a coach that can recruit nationally against anyone and win those battles most of the time.Pope loses every time if it is a top tier player. This is a sad reality with recruiting when it comes to Mark Pope his biggest weakness is recruiting.Recruiting is the lifeblood of athletic programs whether highschool or portal.
Good Lord. What a simpleton. I’m glad dudes not here. Thin skinned types can’t handle the spotlight that is Kentucky basketball. I want killers, not pretenders.
What the heck did they talk about for 2.5 hours? Obviously it didnt help.

2 5 stars in the #1 portal class plus a top 2027 recruit in Hampton along with multiple offers out to a bunch of top players says otherwise.Popes not a good recruiter at all so no argument there.
I think hover dad would have been a problem. What is the problem exactly? He got his feelings hurt because UK fans wrote him off as going to byu. Wow I wonder where he ended up going.
You, Ortho and Richie must be in the middle of an all night pity party tonight. Ill send yall some charmin for all your tearsPopes not a good recruiter at all so no argument there.
You have to speak non-legal terminology for "most" of the board to understand. I used "ruling" loosely in both of these situations because "ruling" makes it sounds final to most people. I didn't want people thinking or inferring that these cases were over completely. But you are definitely correct, they were not judgements, and technically were rulings. I just elected to try to break it down in ways everyone could understand.Gonna just push back on semantics. They both were rulings. Rulings on motions. The kid played for Izzo. Kohler would have been a great fit. Mitchell will be, as well.I think hover dad would have been a problem.
Izzo didn’t seem to want him back. The kid played for Izzo. Kohler would have been a great fit. Mitchell will be, as well.
The kid played 4 years for Izzo and only one of those years did he average less than 34 minutes per game. Izzo “didn’t seem to want him back?”Izzo didn’t seem to want him back.
He's about to experience what it means to play with scissors in bed.So BYU becomes a sidenote to watch this year with Chandler and the inevitable "What if" game we can ponder about what we would've had with Kohler vs. Mitchell. The Wright fiasco is another sidenote. Good for Pope "whiffing" with him. Sometimes a whiff is more important than actually getting that player you thought you wanted.
In the end, I'm happy we got the roster we ended up with. I'll take what we got, and as for BYU ?
Good luck, go whip some *** on the Big12. More power to ya'.
