You've gone to hetero weddings where they screamed praise for heteros, promoted barbestraights, and forcefully put straight scarves around the necks of guests? Wow!

I've been to weddings that was explicitly promoting heterosexual only marriages and straight weddings with scarves at the photo booths. I've been to weddings that explicitly stated that women are subservient to men.

Edit: In fact, the modal wedding I've been to treats the bridge as property.

Because the best environment for a child to grow up in features both a mother and a father. There are undeniable things that both man and woman have to offer a child that cannot be replaced by 2 parents of the same gender.

Seems to me if you want to be gay (I have zero issue with homosexual behavior personally) then you are abandoning the idea of all things afforded to heterosexual people, including children. Embrace the lifestyle you chose.

In addition to modifying current adoption laws I also think we need to legislate this new(ish) idea on surrogacy as well. Pretty substantially too, but that is deviating pretty far from what you asked so I won't get into all of that now.
So you would rather see children in an orphanage or a home than be placed with a loving caring homosexual family?

This!!!

The same "Stop sexualizing kids" crowd are usually so proud when their 15 year old makes the cheer squad and dresses in what basically amounts to a a sports bra and panties then dances and bend over while 30 and 40 year old men ogle them.

Newsflash: gays don't wear sports bras and panties, and gay women won't oogle 15 year old girls ... only older dudes do that. Sorta like those rasslin' guys wearing those tight singlets ... that's only for the hetero girls to try to make out the outline of the boy's schwanz ... homosexual boys certainly won't look.

It's almost like they don't have to do those things because that's how culture is set up already, for heteronormativity, so celebrating those things would seem out of place/unnecessary. It's literally baked in already.

A marginalized community having a wedding that celebrates their community is nothing different than an Iowa fan having hawkeye stuff everywhere. Hell most of the weddings I've been to literally have the Clemson tiger show up and Clemson stuff everywhere.

It's really no different, you just don't like the lgbt community. And that indeed IS a skill issue on your part.

Really you just sound like a bigot
How are they marginalized? I’d love to hear. What rights do straight people have that the poor gays don’t?

For some reason i feel like age matters. The younger a child is the more they need a mother imo.

And It's not that homosexual's can't parent or aren't good people, it's just that they aren't a mother. Children will thrive in a setting with a mother and father, the people that created them.

You seem to be itching for an argument today. Good luck with that, but I just don't have the time for you today.

Do normal people take their kids to a building and threaten them with endless horrors and torment if they don't swear allegiance to some all knowing sky daddy who wipes out 99% of people with a flood as a purity test?
Are we comparing a voluntary, private church service to public schools? Interesting.

I'm itching for folks to be logical. Those who are defending the LGBTQ+ folks here, keep trying to equivocate things that are allegedly LGBTQ+ only sorts of displays (the parades, some of which get quite raunchy) with things that are normalized and could be "appealing" to both straight and LGBTQ+ (cheerleading outfits, etc.).

literally read this thread and the comments from your side of the aisle from the perspective of a gay person and that really is all you need to know
So I’m marginalized too then right. If I read the comments there’s a lot of heterosexual hate in here. I’m finally a victim!! YESSS!!! Yay.

can I have special treatment and reparations now?

Huh? Are you claiming that people drinking beer and watching sports = shoving heterosexuality down people's throats?

I played basketball and so did my son. I never saw 16 yos showing their panties. The school wouldn't allow it.
Cheerleaders show their underwear everytime they do the splits. Either you're lying or you went to some Amish school.

And dudes like you look. You know you do.

Omg. Restaurants, really? You’re mad bc restaurants? We all know the age old straight boy fantasy of going to restaurants to look at scantily clad women…..said no one ever. lol.
The whole business model of Hooters is tits and ***. And dudes like you take your kids there to get a hard on eating wings while your kids sit next to you.

I'd take a drag queen reading to kids in a library over that sicko stuff you're into.

Does hooters girls show up at the third grade science class and start having the kids sing about titties? If not I am struggling to see any relevance.
Do drag queens tell 15 yo girls to wear extra short dance skirts because guys like you want to see their butts?

I don’t care. Have you not seen what you all have done to the public education system. They can’t read anyway. Go ahead.

We are pointing out the hypocrisy of the mouth breathers that believe that only LGBTQ community members sexualize children or try to groom them to their beliefs.

In Iowa LGBTQ have no discrimination protections legally anymore. You serious with these ignorant posts?
There are incredibly sad stats about the disproportional discrimination against the LGBTQ community in regards to housing, in the workplace, targeted violence, and even legislative and data erasure. It takes like 2 seconds to google, but ofc they won't ever look into it.

Remember though, no one cries harder than a white dude that wishes 2026 looked like 1950 still.

You bash the LGBTQ. Then get rightfully criticized for it. Now you're claiming you're the one being attacked?

Lesbians don’t like tits and ***? Hooters is a restaurant - you can chose to patronize it.
