I've never seen heterosexual people parade around in goofy costumes looking for special attention and spreading their sexual preferences in the schools. That's the problem. What adults do is up to them but shoving in other people's faces is what I don't like.
You've never been to the bars in any college town in America? You've never gone to a high school basketball game with 16 yos showing their panties during routines?

I have a brother in law who lost his wife after about 30 years. After a normal grieving period he started to date other women but was unsuccessful developing a relationship. Then his therapist convinced him that he must be gay. He found another man and they moved in together. It wasn't my thing but I was happy that he found somebody to share his life.

I also have a niece who married another woman who was transitioning to a man. I couldn't wrap my head around it. I understand that a woman might be attracted to another woman but why a woman who wants to be a man? Why not stick with men? We went to the wedding and it was offensive to me. I would have been OK with a ceremony that celebrated two people in love but this was over the top. Everything was about praising ***** ideology. The reception was outdoors and it looked like a pride parade. They had a barbeque that they called a barbequeer. They had photographers putting feather boas around guests to take their pictures. Everything was "in your face". We went because it was my wife's niece but it was quite uncomfortable. FWIW the newlyweds got divorced in just over a year. Our niece is reasonably attractive but she shaved her head and got lots of tattoos and piercings. She wound up being the one to file for divorce because her tranny partner went too far.
Dang, they did gay things at a gay wedding reception? Why couldn't they pretend to be straight so you would be more comfortable? Rude!

I went to a wedding where the people met in show choir and the whole fucan thing was show choir. Every speech about show choir, all the people dancing were doing numbers to each song, they were even doing weird pre-show rituals.

But no one really cared because they were straight.
Oh sweetie, they weren’t straight if they were doing all that.

Just be normal. Normal people don’t take kids to parades and dress up like the bondage s&m outfits from “Average Joes”.
Do normal people take their kids to a building and threaten them with endless horrors and torment if they don't swear allegiance to some all knowing sky daddy who wipes out 99% of people with a flood as a purity test?

So men imposing on women, getting special treatment bc you love cock and asking for minimal sexual kink around children equates to not being seen, heard or talked about. You see why people have a problem here? You’re perpetual victims. 😂🤡🤦‍♂️
Do you believe that books that have homosexual relationships depicted (not sex, just the relationship) should be allowed to be on school libraries?

Huh? Are you claiming that people drinking beer and watching sports = shoving heterosexuality down people's throats?

I played basketball and so did my son. I never saw 16 yos showing their panties. The school wouldn't allow it.

You're demanding preferential treatment. You shove straight kinks down kids throats every day. Movies, shows, and ads are filled with straight boy fantasies. You have endless strings of restaurants based on waitresses wearing sexualized clothing. You elected a court found rapist and put him in the WH. And you're going to lecture us about decency?
Omg. Restaurants, really? You’re mad bc restaurants? We all know the age old straight boy fantasy of going to restaurants to look at scantily clad women…..said no one ever. lol.

You've gone to hetero weddings where they screamed praise for heteros, promoted barbestraights, and forcefully put straight scarves around the necks of guests? Wow!

I see. So skimpy cheerleaders, Hooter restaurants, and endless straight sex scenes in every movie are ok, but a rainbow sidewalk and a drag show with a queen dressed with more clothes than what your sister wears to Walmart is suddenly over the line.
Does hooters girls show up at the third grade science class and start having the kids sing about titties? If not I am struggling to see any relevance.

Interesting choice of words that you think the therapist convinced him he was gay.

Would you have a problem with a relative throwing a Hawaiian themed wedding where everyone got lay'd for a picture? Then the relative got divorced a year later?

It's almost like they don't have to do those things because that's how culture is set up already, for heteronormativity, so celebrating those things would seem out of place/unnecessary. It's literally baked in already.

A marginalized community having a wedding that celebrates their community is nothing different than an Iowa fan having hawkeye stuff everywhere. Hell most of the weddings I've been to literally have the Clemson tiger show up and Clemson stuff everywhere.

It's really no different, you just don't like the lgbt community. And that indeed IS a skill issue on your part.

Really you just sound like a bigot

That actually sounds like a much gayer wedding.

This!!!

The same "Stop sexualizing kids" crowd are usually so proud when their 15 year old makes the cheer squad and dresses in what basically amounts to a a sports bra and panties then dances and bend over while 30 and 40 year old men ogle them.

Dude, almost every morning, before 7AM, you have posts about trannys. Who's more likely to be attracted to a trans - someone who never thinks about them or someone who thinks about them before their morning coffee?

I'm proud to be part of the Resistance so you can't shame me for going to a political rally. We have a cruel, deranged dementia patient in the WH and your side won't do anything about him so someone has to stand up to him. And the shame is you know he's sh*t but rather than acknowledge it, you spend all your time searching for tweets of the < than 1% of the population on the fringes to even the score, "in your mind."

Because the best environment for a child to grow up in features both a mother and a father. There are undeniable things that both man and woman have to offer a child that cannot be replaced by 2 parents of the same gender.

Seems to me if you want to be gay (I have zero issue with homosexual behavior personally) then you are abandoning the idea of all things afforded to heterosexual people, including children. Embrace the lifestyle you chose.

In addition to modifying current adoption laws I also think we need to legislate this new(ish) idea on surrogacy as well. Pretty substantially too, but that is deviating pretty far from what you asked so I won't get into all of that now.

90% of weddings are a celebration of hetero love.
99% of all weddings that happen in a church.

About half of the weddings I have been to one of the newly minted mother-in-laws makes a big deal about when are they getting a grandchild (a very hetero-normalization).

No, but I have been to theme weddings - including a Capone-era gangster wedding which involved me having to buy a freaking costume - and the couple was straight but ended up divorcing.
