it's hard for anyone to argue that to this point the war has been a success. Personally, I think Trump has the will to start a war but not the heart to do what it takes to win one.
I'll say one thing about stockpiles...if a 5 month on again off again conflict with a power like Iran has depleted our stockpiles of ammunition, then who ever has been involved in the funding an Acquisition of American munitions should be shot. What are you basing your claims on? A president who said we have already won 35 times even though the strait of Hormuz is going to be a toll based passage? Iran dictating terms? How will the US wipe Iran off the map?
Somebody, be it the operations parts of the Pentagon or the Congress who funds these things should know how our war plans function and the necessity and numbers needed to fight on two fronts.

At the time I'm sure Biden wasn't aware that trump was going to do something incredibly stupid down the road. The whole thing was totally unnecessary. If Israel has a problem with Iran then they should deal with it on their own with "some" help from us. It seems that we're doing all the dirty work for them.
IF we are indeed "out" my guess would be of a specific type of ordinance or something, not overall. So say they have been hammering on Iran in a specific way, or using a specific one to take down drones, etc. Could see those few things running low. Particularly if we are assuming we are going to get them to cave to our demands soon and so we aren't as worried about running out or something.

but you changed the debate. The issue was "we're running out of munitions", well I posted a coupld of days ago about the funded delivery period for some American munitions - up to and sometime beyond 3 years - and I got a couple of "duhs"
But since you brought up blaming Biden, if the delivery period from when a program/acquisition is funded - and that could take months after Congress appropriates the funds - how long would it take for the first munitions to rolloff the assembly line if the last Biden budget was in FY 24???? hint, they wouldn't be available for maybe 3 years, which means year 3 of Trump's term.
So while I didn't blame Biden, it might appear, in retrospect that may be giving away all those munitions might not have been good from a US inventory perspective.
Now just so, I'm not even close to even appearing to blaming Biden, your statement about starting a war when your inventory of weapons is low, is 100% correct. Biden had nothing to do with that..

I think you're at least partially correct. And he was having smoke blown up his b*tt by some of cabinet officials telling him how easy it would be....Trump doesn't have the stomach for war. He want's to be the malevolent "peace president", can't stomach, bombing the infrastructure that might bring Iran to it's knees, or use ground troops,.....

All that aside..it still is obvious, that if you have a shortage of munitions...and the Pentagon should know how many of each system they have....then you probably shouldn't start a war
