Check this out:

Both teams shot 57% overall

Fever shot 46% from three
; MN? 44%

Both teams shot 11-15 (73%) from the FT line.

The difference? Offensive rebounding (that resulted in 2nd chance points) and turnovers. Minny got off 8 more FG attempts than Indy mostly because of their +6 offensive rebounding advantage (resulting in 2nd chance points) and a +6 turnover advantage.

And Indy was still within 2 points (100-98) with 2:37 to go in the game.

What we saw in the Minny game we saw tonight.

Indy shot better overall (46% vs 41%)

Fever shot 35% from three
; LV? Just 23%

The Fever made more FTs.
15-20 (75%) for Indy; 11-14 (79%) for LV.

The difference? Offensive rebounding (that resulted in 2nd chance points) and turnovers. Las Vegas got off 19 more FG attempts than Indy in large part because of their +6 offensive rebounding advantage (resulting in 2nd chance points) and a +5 turnover advantage.

She had a taller defender.... backing up and shooting most likely has the same result as that turnover.... Would have been blocked and a run out.

Veteran move by Aja to guard CC, when the Fever went into stall ball and got Caitlin stuck on an island.

Gotta try to drive sooner or have teammates cutting towards you to help. DON'T THROW THE BALL AWAY CAITLIN
If you go back and replay that play where Wilson stole CC's pass before the winning shot, why was Clark iso-balling on Wilson? Why did everyone else just stand in place, and not even try to screen or help her out? White run out of timeouts? White, you set the play up.

That game is gonna be one that CC will struggle to recover from. Not sure I’ve seen a great player fold like that. I mean just incomprehensible plays and mistakes.

Lololol, what a stupid thing to say. Would you like to bet that she won't recover from a poor half of basketball? And yet AGAIN, another game where the ridiculous roster this front office put together gets them beat, If the big three don't play like HOF's against good teams they're screwed.

I watched the final play again as well, and I agree with what someone else said. As soon as she committed to passing the ball it was gonna be a turnover regardless. She had no clear vision on the pass. It was that forced over the shoulder jump pass bull sh**, and Timpson's defender was already in front of her before Caitlin even went to pass it. Trying to shoot the ball was the only option and she pulled a Paige Bueckers and balked at the opportunity. Who knows if it was because she got scared with Aja defending her, but irregardless it was a terrible play all around by her.

Yessir, it was definitely a no-go. However, why in the world would you iso Clark on Wilson like that with the slimmest of leads? Wilson v Clark is a huge mismatch height wise, and throw in the reach factor as well, what was White thinking? Wasted time on the shot clock, and worse, the steal and winning shot on the other end. My point is that there was no movement by anyone as the play developed until Timpson finally made a cut to the rim, but it was too late. SW, you had a timeout left. When Wilson picked up Clark, why didn't you use it???

What % of the blame do you put on CC in regards to the roster?

A couple of pretty drives to the basket from CC and KM late in OT.

It is amazing that 2 of the best scorers in the history of women's basketball struggle to attack the basket with their off hand.

CC at least gets in position on the left to user her right as much as possible, whereas KM sometimes just lets the ball float from her hands and watches to see what happens.

Whatever the final play was last night, if I'm CC, I'm taking a logo shot with 1-2 seconds on shot clock. Make, game over. Miss and hit rim, clock may run out. Still pissed we didnt do this vs NW State in MENS NCAA way back when.

I noticed that all game. When CC has the ball AB does not post up and the other player stand around - not screening, not cutting, not moving. After 8 assists in the first half, Caitlin had none the remaining 35 minutes. She was looking to pass but her teammates aren't attempting to present themselves to receive an assist.

SW offense is designed for Kelsey to go iso. Great for Kelsey, but CC needs her assists to set up her offesive game. The fact she's near tops in the league in assists is a miracle in this offense.

Also, I've noticed Caitlin is now looking off Billings because she simply can't handle a dime. KK is a little better, but she still hestitates at the rim. Iowa's bigs are coached to get the ball up there quickly - no hesitation. Apparently, few WNBA post-type players are taught that. It's hard to watch.

Oh for F sake - great players sometimes have crappy games. It happens. And if she doesn't come back from it then she really wasn't all that great. She'll be just fine.

Not to dismiss Caitlin's ineptitude last night but it's frustrating how late Wilson gets both a favorable whistle and favorable non-whistle and in both cases Caitlin's on the wrong end of it.

Yes it was an atrocious pass by Caitlin but she did not flop in the fight for the ball with Wilson, A'ja clearly shoved her to the floor. No whistle.

Earlier Wilson crashes into Caitlin and Caitlin is deemed to have hip checked her, lol. Whistle on Caitlin.

Just added frustration on top of Caitlin's and the Fever's frustrating play.

I'm certainly no coach but it seems to me Lexi needs to try to stop the ball more than just focusing on stopping the player, if that makes sense.

It seems like often she gets into good guarding position but takes a tiny step or leans a little and makes contact and gets a foul. Imo, if her hands were a little more active she could really be a pest. Instead she's a foul magnet.
