WrestleMania business this year was dreadful compared to last year, yikes. No, I am not saying it was dreadful overall, just in comparison to last year’s WrestleMania.

Lower ticket sales for WrestleMania 42 drove a $33.7 million year-over-year decline in WWE’s live events and hospitality revenue.

TKO’s second-quarter results show that the category generated $152 million, down from $185.7 million in the same period last year.

The company said the decrease came from lower ticket revenue and was “almost exclusively” related to WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

TKO did not disclose a gate for this year’s two-night event at Allegiant Stadium.

WrestleMania 41 generated $66,074,558 in ticket sales across its two nights in 2025. Pollstar data showed that 113,412 tickets were sold in total.

The $33.7 million decline cannot be subtracted directly from last year’s WrestleMania gate to calculate the 2026 figure. This is because WWE’s live events and hospitality category covers all events during the quarter and also includes hospitality and financial incentive packages.

However, TKO’s attribution indicates that WrestleMania ticket revenue fell significantly from the record set one year earlier.

Ya I think Cena definitely boosted a lot of tickets last year so no surprise there’s a decline this year.

Who cares she won’t go over and the roster is already bloated - Toni/Mone/Willow are the chosen ones not even Jaime Hayter can get any traction. Megan Bayne should get a singles push but she’s stuck in the tag thing.

Regardless there’s like 20 women on the main roster there so they need more? Not to mention stuffing some down in roh.

Does TK develop talent? Edge hasn’t put over one person nor has Lashley.
Fletcher getting shoved down our throats doesn’t mean he’s developed he already ended Adam Cole’s career.

Silver Lake, the private equity company that owns Endeavor/TKO/WWE, was already massively in debt from buying UFC and now they even more massively in debt. If you thought the ads were bad before…

Thought Raw was pretty good last night. Got welcomed returns, a Bron vs Oba tease, a Roman in AAA tease possibly for Triplemania or the show in Chicago, Fatu looked strong, and they put the ball in Knight's court against Roman.

They really got Roman working a regular tv singles match as 9/14 is the Raw date. Guess they told him he’s got to put on his working boots and earn his paycheck after delivering an underwhelming house for SummerSlam

I remember Meltzer whining some time around the late 90s about WCW having a bloated roster with just over 100 wrestlers filling TV for three hours of Nitro, 2 hours of Thunder, 2 hours Saturday Night and an hour of WorldWide tapings each week.

Now AEW has double that amount of wrestlers on their roster and Meltzer doesn't say a word.

That guy is a grade A chode.

There's a site that keeps track of rosters. Grain of salt but they've got AEW with 217, including MCMG. Potential signings like New Day, Sheamus, etc. aren't included. Safe to say by year's end they'll top 220. WWE sits at 197 but that includes LFG, Evolve, and their ID program.
