Sounds like it’s heavy on the living
My mom was in assisted living for about a year. Her next door neighbor had a case of wine delivered every week. She had dementia but she never forgot that she liked to drink.
My grandmother was a pack a day smoker and got dementia. She got so mad one day when she found cigarettes in her assisted living room. Dog cussed the nurse for hiding cigarettes in her room because she thought they were the nastiest thing and not ladylike!
They fkvc a lot apparently. Good for them. An 80 year old man that can walk and talk can basically pick whatever dame he wants.

My daddy was in a nursing home. There were 100 women and 17 men.
Not assisted living, but I’m looking hard at Margaritaville PCB retirement community.
We looked at it pretty hard a few years back. They’re building a new one in OBA but I think it’s going to be more short term rental than retirement community.

My dad had dementia and he finally did forget that he dipped snuff, which saved my brother from having to get it for him.
My grandmother was in assisted living and we'd regularly bring her some bourbon. I don't know if we snuck it in or not. I mean we didn't broadcast it, but we also figured she'd earned a finger of it with water a few times a month.

Im pretty sure you can have a girlfriend for breakfast and a different one for dinner.
We were able to take beer in and the staff would supposedly give grandpa 2 per day. I only took a 6 pack in at a time. I had suspicions grandpa wasn’t the only one drinking his beers. But boy would he get excited when I’d bring them in.
