Tomorrow one of my buddies is having a "my wife's out of town" gathering of guys for an evening of whiskey drinking. I don't like whiskey, but I'm a team player. I'm heading out later to find a bottle of something that the group will deem acceptable.

The wife and I were looking forward to a wedding tomorrow night in the DSM metro, as well as the hotel sex before and after said wedding. No kids event and our babysitter bailed at 9am this morning. No reinforcements available. To make matters worse the wife dropped $180 on a floor length dress (black tie dress code), the $250 hotel is past cancel point, and the mother of the groom text my wife an hr ago letting her know that we will be responsible for paying fir the $70 a plate dinner we RSVPd for. Fun little $600 weekend of staying home.
