Part of me wishes I could. But I don’t have the ability to fake any interest in TBT or Calipari’s one-and-dones playing in this gimmick.

Goodwin had a tough one season at UK, but I wasn’t as hard on him as some because I felt that Ryan Harrow being a complete bust put a lot of pressure on him to handle the ball too much.
He was more of a slasher without a reliable jumper. He wasn’t a playmaker for others either. He started all 33 games and I never questioned his effort. His was mostly the error of trying to do too much.
I didn’t realize that he played in 165 NBA games. 😦
Me either. Archie played hard and felt the pressure to carry the team particularly after Nerlens went down

Im at a family reunion and we celebrated that one like a tourney victory lol. It's just TBT but it's still awesome to see the Cats win a nail biter win or go home game, especially since those have been so rare for our real team the last several years. Hoping we play Kansas in the alumni championship, that will be a really fun matchup.

WCS spent three years at UK and was an all American that went to two final fours. Andrew Harrison spent two years and went to two final fours as well. I’d take Calipari’s one-and-dones having success like that every day of the week

It was an exciting game, I found myself getting into more then I thought. Hope they win it all 🥳

All that ended with NIL and Mitch not getting on board. Just look at both our football and basketball records since 2022. A complete downward spiral in both sports. I don’t believe any coach could have succeeded under Mitch and his reluctance to accept the current landscape. It’s why he was forced out. He didn’t retire. He wanted to stay. That why the made up jobs and severance. Calipari has done much better at Arkansas. He’s getting difference makers again.

As long as Kentucky is in it ...the TBT is fun to watch because teams want that money son! They are trying to get that paycheck.

Plus you got the Elam.

Syracuse players looked like they lost a real ncaa tournament game after he dunked that.

BBN was losing their mind like it mattered lol.
Basketball in July is a winner. But we need real coaches and a few more better players from these teams we've had. Where's John Wall and demarcus cousins? Where's my Enis? Jorts? Brandon Knight? T jones?

We got guys ignoring this. This could be easy money every year. Cousins would wear these ******* out.

I respect the ones showing up.

Yeah those 7 elite 8s and 4 final fours and title were a tough watch. Since cal has been gone we have really returned to elite status.
I’m among those who will take the Joe B. Hall and Pitino years over that every day of the week. To me, the entire players first/gold standard era was unwatchable. To each their own.

I actually think it’s cool that players that did not have a good UK experience like Goodwin and Whitney are part of this.

Shows there’s no hard feelings and adds a nice little redemption angle for them to return to Lexington and do well.
Are you the dude that used to post on the national bball board a few years ago? IIRL, you and your wife do houses together.

Nope. I’ve never posted on the national board and the only house I do is my own.

Everyone would take the pitino era over any era post Rupp. Bold statement, said no one ever.

Players are mercenaries now, pope era 100% included. Better get used to it man.

I’ve accepted that in the NIL/portal era I’m going to be a get-off-my-lawn guy 🤷🏻‍♂️
