I’ve decided part of Whitney’s problem at UK is that he was just at the wrong position.

He didn’t have the dribbling/perimeter skills to be out on the wing where Cal had him. But he’s pretty darn good at the 4 spot when just focuses on being a high energy defense/rebounding scrapper.

Somebody always does that. Morsel deserves as much credit as anybody. He has great hands and is such a good on ball defender.

It was an exciting finish...to the above poster I believe it will be Wichita State and Syracuse beat them so it's winnable. It all fell apart when WCS got tired and rightly so at this stage of his life and Cuse started driving to basket at will and erased 11 point lead, and as usual the referees made some questionable calls but ended up getting it right at the end.

I am wondering why all the players on LaFamilia that did not play at UK and kinda of ironic that Goodwin who was a trainwreck here and the dragon were important pieces to this team, without WCS we go nowhere.

Goodwin had a tough one season at UK, but I wasn’t as hard on him as some because I felt that Ryan Harrow being a complete bust put a lot of pressure on him to handle the ball too much.
He was more of a slasher without a reliable jumper. He wasn’t a playmaker for others either. He started all 33 games and I never questioned his effort. His was mostly the error of trying to do too much.
I didn’t realize that he played in 165 NBA games.
