I’m not sure they are different people. So my answer is . . . Yes.
Who is "Joe's Place?" I must have missed the thread that he was apparently posting in, repeatedly.
From HROT. Didn't make the transition to on3. Really smart guy (especially on science topics) and while he was usually right, he was insufferable.
He was smart on some topics (some science things as you mention but weirdly also all things HVAC). But he thought he was an expert on literally everything. He’s the kind of guy that has never said “I don’t know” once in his life.
I can’t trust someone who refuses to say “I don’t know“ at least once in a while.
I figured he was our real life Cliff Claven.
Joes Place at least has the capacity for humor.

Until Moogs argues he "tripped" out his truck, Joe remains at the top (or bottom depending on your perspective).
Very strong on climate issues. Also very good on most health issues.
On other issues he was sometimes a little too willing to toe the Democratic Party line for my tastes - but that's still better than the main alternative.
This strikes me as a romantacized version of Joe. I think you give him too much credit with "usually right".

My earlier joke aside, this was one of his craziest traits. He was inadvertently a master of friendly fire.
Well, Moogy did share that the denizens of NH are "literal motherf.vcker (and sisterf.vcker)s" whose kids have "protruding lower jaws, club feet and drooping eyes".
Then he later shared that he has a house in NH.
