in general, I do prefer some experience with the backups. For the most part, they do better than rookies or 2nd year players if called in to fill a spot on the OL. So in that context, getting Toth back would be a positive. In the flip side, considering the injuries that Dickerson and Jurgens dealt with last season (and subsequently, as they both went overseas to get treatment this offseason), the Birds do need to develop some young backups. And there is the curious situation with Mekhi Becton, who is still available as a free agent (he had some injuries last season). It will be interesting to see what decisions are made with the OL, especially as this is the 1st time in years that Stoutland is not the OL coach.
