Let’s recap with facts. L4 said PE would likely to be the final nail in the coffin and that it’s not college sports anymore. I think college sports are trending from opposite of nail in the coffin. Seems to me, you have your posters mixed up.

Another fact: you didn’t just say you didn’t like PE, you said “PE makes everything they touch worse”. That’s a big ******* difference. And it simply isn’t true. I’ve seen PE work first hand.

You’re not being honest.

Yes you think PE will reverse the trend and I think it will not. You implied you didn't think college sports were quality earlier in the thread.

As to your second point my post was pretty obviously hyperbole. If you can't realize that then I apologize.

So now it’s all implication and hyperbole?

"PE makes everything they touch" is clearly an exaggeration. From now on when I post something I will put a disclaimer at the bottom in case some one a dumb as a fence post** reads it.

**hyperbole.

Nobody makes money from baseball
That's my point for all the cut baseball people. Like LSU or even PE at LSU would cut their program because it doesn't make money. Cutting baseball is stupid talk.

It's just a matter of time before olemiss figures out they want to do it and calls their cigar boys in. They don't give a **** about the long term effects either. They just want to win now. And they won't be able to stand it if the real bluebloods like LSU, UF, or UT are doing it.
UF is a blueblood?

I dont disagree. I just dont think Florida has been all the special outside of Spurrier and Meyer.
The were in the old system. All a blue blood is, is a program capable of winning a national title, and most programs are only capable of doing that with a good coach.

Currently, in the new world, blue blood is certainly being redefined or at minimum, adjusted.

I would agree with that, but they did make a lot of hay in the 90's and 00's with two of the legendary coaches of the game. That's not nothing.

But we can fill in the blanks on the blue bloods - my point was that olemiss ain't one, no matter how hard they want to be. They are one coach away from being back to irrelevant, and in my opinion, they just hired that coach.
