We love our Cylions !Why are you so desperate to hate this team?
Why are you so desperate to hate this team?
You named one LBWasn't Rojas A Franklin LB recruit?
Uhhhh, no. I’ve been happy to support the team whether it’s Paterno, Bradley, BOB, Franklin, or Campbell.Wasn't that you the last 14 years?
A few folks at PSU still root for a coach, not PSU....dead, fired....it doesn't matter as they cannot move on from their little fanboy crushes on coaches. Why are you so desperate to hate this team?
He's currently on the team and expected to be a very prominent part of this year's defense . Where did he come from? I'm not the one stupid enough to say a coach ignored 3 position groups a year and a half after his team was finished #5 in the nation. It looks like the current coach could be "ignoring" WR as well. How about you hold your breath until the new staff finishes better than #5 in the nation? You named one LB… it takes more than one LB to have a good defense lol.
No one beats you for running your mouth. So many put you on ignore, you created multiple handles to get attention. He's currently on the team and expected to be a very prominent part of this year's defense . Where did he come from? Run your mouth when PSU has reached "excellence at the highest level."
One needs multiple handles to deal with your abundant stupidity. No one beats you for running your mouth. So many put you on ignore, you created multiple handles to get attention.
Talking Gibson decommitment, Taylor, Penn State “big boy” recruiting (especially PA) Armstrong, etc. A good listen.
I don't know that many on here believe Gibson isn't a loss. CMC and staff have to find a comparable replacement. Too bad he chose to reclassify, which apparently knocked PSU out of his commitment. So the flip of the RB to Rutgers was in due to
1: He got in some sort of trouble at a 7 on 7 and was being suspended for a game or two at his HS
2: Because of #1, he wanted no part of his current HS, but couldn’t just transfer and be eligible
3. Rutgers pounced on this news and offered him high 6 figures to early enroll.
4. He always liked Rutgers and wanted out of his HS and PSU couldn’t use him in the 26 roster as Rutgers can and will!
It’s a loss for PSU either way
PSU RB depth appears to be: Hansen, Peoples/Martin (battling for #2), and Wallace. What is the rb depth chart?
I wouldn’t mind if we held steady at RB or picked a developmental rb, but I really want to see us reach and flip an elite WR. I still think that Campbell’s crew is doing well in recruiting in many respects, but I do have concerns that they are religiously adhering to their scale. They are holding some money for the portal, for sure. They are preparing for the five-year rule as we may have a number of players come back for another year. Read a few places that we are 20% for recruiting class. That may need to be bumped up to 25% for this year and next year to rebuild after Kraft’s lost 2026 class. The only caveat is if we have enough funds to get what we want out of the portal. I have some doubts there because the portal general is higher than high school recruiting.I don't know that many on here believe Gibson isn't a loss. And with the new five-year rule, they can all be back next season.PSU RB depth appears to be: Hansen, Peoples/Martin (battling for #2), and Wallace.
Or they can hit the portal and explore other options for more cash. Nothing is guaranteed here. And with the new five-year rule, they can all be back next season.

That is true. We have three very solid backs, and obviously there will be a loser in terms of carries among the three. I could see that person leaving. Or maybe Hansen is able to go to the NFL.Or they can hit the portal and explore other options for more cash. Nothing is guaranteed here.
He knows the answers to his stupid questions. He’s just being a small shriveled wiener.PSU RB depth appears to be: Hansen, Peoples/Martin (battling for #2), and Wallace.
On the recruiting and what appears to be a ceiling on paying HS recruits, I think he formulated a plan with priorities and an importance on certain things.I wouldn’t mind if we held steady at RB or picked a developmental rb, but I really want to see us reach and flip an elite WR. Hate to be Debbie Downer but I don't see whomever gets the least PT this year might choose to portal after this season; especially if the staff can add another RB comparable to Gibson in this class. And with the new five-year rule, they can all be back next season.
There seems to be widespread condemnation of happy Valley united for this. Their days may be numbered as the NIL collective for PSU. Maybe this leads to something new. Apparently our collective has been poorly managed for a long time.
Apparently, PSU itself is pissed at HVU. Leave it to us to be late out of the gate setting up NIL and then having a collective that may be incompetent. Maybe this will lead to something newer and much better.I don’t know how to feel about this because it basically confirms what I feared. PSU doesn’t have adequate NIL and they are going to have to rely on Campbell and Co finding diamonds in the rough and coaching them up. This isn’t a very optimistic message.
The HVU website boasts 2.1 million NIL distributed to 31 teams. That seems low. Hope adidas is supplying NIL. Hope there’s other NIL outside HVU.Apparently, PSU itself is pissed at HVU. I have 3 or 4 on ignore in this thread. You guys should know who that is and just do that.He knows the answers to his stupid questions. He’s just being a small shriveled wiener.
I don't understand. All I was saying about Florida is Golesh has done well and had the same time Campbell had. I actually don't know if Florida has a better class than ours or not. Are you saying it is harder to recruit in Florida?Comparing PA recruiting to Fla TX or Cali is um is lacking in knowledge or just ignoring some glaring facts.

There seems to be a variety of streams of revenue. There’s ncaa revenue share, there’s the HVU collective, Adidas, and there’s other individual deals outside the collective. This is the best I understand it, but it’s hard to get information on exactly how it works, even on the other forums out there. What is universally understood is that our collective is run very poorly and cycles through directors. Unfortunately, it also is absolutely true that our donor system is extraordinarily fragmented and completely silo’d. Supposedly the PSU Association won’t even share contact information to allow Kraft and the collective to reach more of our wealthy alums. There’s nobody in control of this. Kraft should be the glue and he is not. He may be the biggest problem we have. The HVU website boasts 2.1 million NIL distributed to 31 teams. That seems low. Hope adidas is supplying NIL. That statement is true for every team in FBS.Hate to be Debbie Downer but I don't see whomever gets the least PT this year might choose to portal after this season; especially if the staff can add another RB comparable to Gibson in this class.
It was IN UCLA, their QB was one of the highest rated and most coveted in the country, he had an unreal game, we had bad luck, and injuries if I recall. Our LB’s were awful! That loss was just a microcosm of the season-I don’t blame James Franklin for that loss. It was just bad luck. It happens. In what universe does a team automatically deserve to win every game? UCLA had a young coach too and the team had been rallying at that point and was fired up. It happens. It doesn’t mean James Franklin is a bad coach or should have been fired.Yeah. That be broke me. And I was already on the brink after the Oregon loss.
I just laughed. Before we played our season opener I told my wife there was no way we were the #2 team in the country and I’d believe Franklin could win the big games when he proved it. I bought no tickets for the season because Franklin had burned me one too many times spending to go to big games. I had no clue the meltdown would be as epic as it was, but whatever the opposite of clutch is—that’s what Franklin is.
Your bias against Franklin is nauseating you Iowa State fan boy. You didn’t buy tickets to last season because you knew better? Nobody knew better! I don’t know any PSU fans who weren’t emphatically confident about our success last season. You’re SO smart…you possess such clairvoyance. I just call that being an ***. Anybody can say I told you so after the fact.I just laughed. When you say “so glad” he’s gone you sound naive, spoiled, immature, and dumb. Just like @PSUForeverSo glad he is gone. He was a walking and talking big game disappointment just ready to
This post shows you have you no idea what you are talking about. Remember sweetie, it’s better to be thought a dumb little sniveling naive rat then to fat finger a response on a forum and remove all doubt. What do you mean, “lesser team?” We actually have LBs, WRs, and DTs now after Franklin ignored those positions during the 2020s. To me, the team looks improved all-around.
THAT statement is the issue. We don’t hate the team you idiot. Why are you so desperate to hate this team?
Kraft is likely a liar but at the very least a prolific prevaricator. Despite objections and warnings about the timing, he forged ahead with the stadium project at a very unpredictable and turbulent time for college football. This cost PSU big time recruits before the 7/1/25 NIL Clearinghouse deadline. It continues to hobble recruiting and there should be no one who denies it.Cignetti Jr has everything under control. Be happy
LoL.THAT statement is the issue. We don’t hate the team you idiot.
We LOVE the team and that is why we are concerned.
Don’t you get it? Some people don’t think the team is better this moment than it WAS.
You can’t put lipstick on a pig and don’t piss on my back and tell me it’s raining. We’re a Becht injury away from winning four games this year.
It’s interesting…I think it might be the opposite…Your psychology is so flakey and notable…I wouldn’t be surprised if YOU were rooting against us last year praying for Franklin to fail. Cheering for his demise like a sicko.
You are gas lighting. Keep digging yourself a bigger hole. Come on-do it. More dumb replies will help, right? Say something. I know the truth because I’ve experienced sociopathic creeps like you before.
