Playoffs in the 4A West will be crazy. I just hope every team is healthy and it should be really exciting, with some really good games.

Not a bandys fan to be honest. From the post on social media and some friends in the area, they are pretty optimistic for the season. Not too sure why.
JV QB will be varsity. Doesn't run well and doesn't like getting hit, heck who does. Haha
They thing they appear to be hanging their hat on is the line. Most guys are back. Take that for whatever it's worth. But they are talking them up big time.
I assume they will try to run more than pass.

I know another school wanted him as running back. But at least important thing is y'all admitted to poaching a tiger. Technically a felony in certain circumstances
I'll admit he may be the 2nd or 3rd most talented freshman player in the area

Our conference games this year will be insane. Burns, Cramer, Lincolnton and Shelby will be games to see. All 4 schools have a ton of talent. Once we split and go to the playoffs the intensity will increase. Should be a fun year.
Keep telling y'all we're not playing seven or seven let's throw deep touchdowns every play. We are actually working on offensive system. Sure if we were running deep routes every play we would score more often

Believe Maiden has played them a few time. ..Lincolnton has played them once, that I remember, in 1993, hereā¦Theyāre very tough and brought a big crowd with them. Had natty looking uniforms, too.

If one of them passes by a first responder, they thank them for their service. A couple of them do look to be 7 feet tall. Besides basketball they play baseball, soccer. Thatās probably the golfers, and since the Lincoln County line runs through the golf course, stay off the Lincoln County side of the fairway.Some of them are housed in maiden
I do have that inside connection there. A guy I work with his wife is the kitchen manager at the combine academy. He was telling me they bought houses and double wides in Maiden to house some of their athletes.
I was in attendance at this game. I was standing on the Starmount side with Coach Elder. He and I both felt that the decision to go for the first down was not the correct one at that time. The FB, Shuford, had been having his way, but he had too many carries that night. The Starmount defense guessed right and that stop changed the momentun of the game. The next time we played them, he was a much more humble soul.
Never understood the benefit of that type of an announcer. Guess it is fun for the home side but if you were a visitor and your team is losing, you just have to sit there with your arms crossed and seethe.
