Was curious, due to the haters that exist who say NLWC performs poorly on the international stage and is somehow bad for USA wrestling, about international NLWC results. I looked into the past 5 cycles/years starting with 2021 olympics & worlds (full slate that year due to 2020 covid crap) through 2025 worlds.

I believe the numbers are: 7 Gold, 7 Silver, 4 Bronze in the past 5 years for NLWC.

* Definitely could be off, but Snyder and Gilman count the whole time and Dake starts counting in 2023 because I think he came to the NLWC after 2022 worlds. I didn't include Taylors 2024 non Olympic world Bronze at 92kg because he had left for Ok State that spring.

Either way the NLWC ( and Cornell to a lesser extent up until recently) carry the majority of the output for USA wrestling internationally..shocker, I know.

Please correct if you notice an error.
I was wondering and you have to go post CoVid. 18 medals… wonder where they rank as a country? Do you have the list of medal winners? The NLWC performs like the varsity and probably have great records in semis and finals.

I do, just not currently where I'm at. Some time I'll post the individuals who got what medals.

First I want to say thank you to my biggest supporters in my wife Jenna Marsteller and my children Cannon,Easton, and Mila. I wrestled, lost, got some gnarly ribs in the process that really hurt, then we got ritas. Life is good again!
Final X is always one of the raddest events to be part of and the arena is always electric. I am grateful to be part of the process. I want to thank all the people that take care of me. Thank you to all of the athletes and families in Steller Trained and Steller Trained York you are a core piece of me and what I do. Thank you to adidas wrestling and Titan Mercury Wrestling Club for the numerous years of unwavering support. Thank you to the newest pieces of the team that made the biggest differences this year Golden Wolf Rtc w/ Kriss Bellanca and The Treigning Lab w/ Coach Cal. Thank you to Neff Physical Therapy for taking care of me for all these years! Thank you to God for giving me this amazing team to be surrounded by.
So many times I do put my identity in wrestling. It truly is a piece of me no matter how much I try to diversify myself. Some days are great some hurt more than others. I woke up feeling a little lost the other day just for a second. Then I remembered I am one of the lords children. I remembered I just was blessed with competing in my 4 world team trials final in 5 years. I remembered that ritas is good. We made alot of things happen this year that were unknowns. I had my shoulder completely reconstructed back in late October and did not know if I would be able to compete this year but I did. I won the U.S open again and was back at final x. Theres a lot left in the tank for years to come. I will get healthy again soon!
Congrats to Levi. You were the better competitor the other day and I believe you will win gold at worlds. And congrats to the rest of our Team USA athletes.

Absolutely not. To all of us from the Southeastern part of the state, this is the gold standard:

I saw him two nights before this performance (this video is from the Capitol Theatre) at the Mann Music Center when I was 20. July 1984. Bittersweet night for me as I was in the midst of a bad breakup with my HS girlfriend - college wasn't too kind on this relationship - and we went together with some other friends. I was in the midst of getting crushed for the very first time. In retrospect, what was I even worried about? I should have just taken George's advice!
