It actually looks just like an older pair of Nikes I have (without the raised "C's" of course......

It will be interesting to see how Nike performs financially after the Cailtin products are finally available for sale.

However, will they produce enough to meet demand?

In this discussion, they argue that Nike should have had the Caitlin shoe out 3 years ago.

Why the 3 year delay?

That's what's so special about athletics. Dreams realized after all of the devotion, sacrifice, and effort by not just by her, but by her parents as well.
True, but I'm sure they never imagined the flip side either of how her whole life would be laid bare exposing both the good and bad. The constant backlash has to be mentally draining for her. Obviously she's become generationally wealthy, but there's been a price to pay as well.

Yeah, with success and wealth, comes scrutiny.

That's an interesting question. All of the Kobe knockoffs they've made for her were. You would think lots of guys would buy them also. She did mention something at one point about Nike putting a lot of tech into the shoes to be the first shoe actually designed for a women's foot. I'd bet their still unisex though. Too many lost sales otherwise.
