I pull for all the Liverpool players, or potential Liverpool players, involved not to get hurt. That means I pull for all their teams not to make it out of the group stage. I watch because it’s on.

We kiddo was younger, the Bundesliga was big in my house, so Germany (plus, they are training 3 miles away). As far as "Cinderella teams", I've adopted Cote D'Ivoire for some reason. Wife is a francophile, so she's rooting for France.

I do enjoy the Scots, though.

The biggest issue there is that Europe deserves a certain number of like 20 auto-qualifiers on merit, but there’s no way to do it without giving an equal number to the Big 10***
