Looks at literally the last game Iowa played. You may remember we were an underdog to a team led by the Heisman runner-up.We haven’t been able to get many (or any?) of those wtf wins lately.

I mean, that was the first win over a team that finished the season in the top 25 since 2019 Minnesota. It’s still a valid concern.Looks at literally the last game Iowa played. You may remember we were an underdog to a team led by the Heisman runner-up.
So bowl games count now? I've lost track.Looks at literally the last game Iowa played. You may remember we were an underdog to a team led by the Heisman runner-up.
Idiots don’t think they count. Are you an idiot? So bowl games count now? I've lost track.
Heel there, Chief. I thought it was pretty obvious that it was a tongue in cheek comment.Idiots don’t think they count. Are you an idiot?
Definitely not a "wtf win", Hawks always had a real chance to beat Vanderbilt. I still believe it was a significant win, which is something that we lacked during season after we lost to Indiana, Oregon, and USC.Looks at literally the last game Iowa played. That was a “what the f***” win?? No, no it wasn’t.Looks at literally the last game Iowa played. You may remember we were an underdog to a team led by the Heisman runner-up.

A WTF win is definitely in reference to like a #3 Penn State (Or Michigan or whatever…) getting beat in Kinnick as has happened several years ago. Or a 55-24 stomping of Ohio State as another example.
We were three point underdogs to Vandy and won by 7. Our four losses were by 15 points. One was a single digit loss to the national champs. So close.Definitely not a "wtf win", Hawks always had a real chance to beat Vanderbilt. Indiana where we gave them a pick right out of the gate and then the damn missed wide open screen pass at the end. That game was a fist fight. We were three point underdogs to Vandy and won by 7. Our four losses were by 15 points. One was a single digit loss to the national champs. So close.
Lester's functioning offense just has 2 games out of 26 for more than 200 yards passing.I mean, that was the first win over a team that finished the season in the top 25 since 2019 Minnesota. It’s still a valid concern.
With a now functional offense I think Iowa can get back to that 1 big upset win a year we seemed to always get, but we have to wait and see if that’s the case.
Defense lost the Oregon game.Indiana where we gave them a pick right out of the gate and then the damn missed wide open screen pass at the end. That game was a fist fight.
I started typing a response but this comment is so dumb that there is a 0% chance you’re not trollingLester's functioning offense just has 2 games out of 26 for more than 200 yards passing.
Nate Stanley had ten 200+ yard games (1 over 300yds) in 2019 under OC BRIAN FERENTZ.
Now add two QBs that have had less real game snaps than you have fingers.
And wetjens fumble inside their 10 and a turrible punt snap safety.Defense lost the Oregon game.

Ok fine, I'll bite. You got nothing. I understand.
Also last line should read....
Now add two QBs that have had less real game snaps than your IQ.![]()
Curious how everybody blames Brown because the screen play didn't work, but nobody blames Gronowski for setting up IU for the early lead.Indiana where we gave them a pick right out of the gate and then the damn missed wide open screen pass at the end. That game was a fist fight.
How about George Kittle?Ok fine, I'll bite.
List of NFL Skill Position Players (2019)
Tyler Goodsen RB
Mekhi Sargent RB
Ihmir Smith Marsette WR
Tyrone Tracy Jr WR
Brandon Smith WR
Charlie Jones WR
Sam Laporta TE
With 7 NFL skill guys and 2 NFL Pro Bowler linemen Brian put up 25.8 PPG (88th) against the mighty B1G West. That is a horrendous level of production relative to talent on the team. When the talent other coaches recruited dried up Brian's offense got exposed for what it was, trash.
With maybe 1 skill guy going to the NFL (Vohname), Lester put up 29.3 PPG (54th) this past season, and 27.7 PPG (72nd) in 2024 (with 1 NFL skill guy, KJ). Lester was left with a box of rocks talent wise and still outperformed Brian.

I know some clone fans and none of them think that ISU will beat Iowa this year in football.78. Iowa State 17,513
110. Iowa. 11,779
This is why clone fans think they will win this year.
