No chance Conor fights Gathje he doesnt want that damage hes got money. Also there's about zero chance he beats Max imo. Hes been out 3 years and didnt look good then. Once a fighter gets civilized there done

He is a good matchup vs Max, obviously. Matchups are everything in MMA
Last time Conor looked good was 2017 nearly a decade ago.
This can't be said enough. Ring Rust is real and Conor was getting mauled by Dustin his last fight. "Prime Conor" was a real thing and amazing but it's been a decade. And Cowboy quit in that 2017 fight. He even admitted it later (as if he needed to). Many people think they're gonna see 2013-2016 Conor and are gonna be sorely disappointed.
He fought Cowboy in 2021 but That was a gimme fight . Last time he looked good was Alvarez fight at MSG 1 in 17 or maybe that was 16.
That 4 punch combo to end the fight is legendary. He dropped him i believe 3 times before that.
The UFC is unbelievable at puting on events. They had everything taken care of and got lucky with the storm.
Hokit has lots of potential. Not a fan of his persona/gimmick.
I say potential because he still has plenty holes in his game but also in a super weak division. His wrestling gives him a chance against the weak division that is stand up heavy. I think Aspinall is the only one well rounded and athletic enough to handily deal with him. Maybe Acosta too.

That tells you how bad heavyweight is at the moment. Hokit is really a middleweight. He's a fat 230 .
