This can't be said enough. Ring Rust is real and Conor was getting mauled by Dustin his last fight. "Prime Conor" was a real thing and amazing but it's been a decade. And Cowboy quit in that 2017 fight. He even admitted it later (as if he needed to). Many people think they're gonna see 2013-2016 Conor and are gonna be sorely disappointed.

I don't see how this event could be good. It is outside in miserable humidity and heat. Fighters will get tired. There will be tons of bugs. Hell, it may not even happen due to weather.

These events need to be in controlled environments.

The UFC is unbelievable at puting on events. They had everything taken care of and got lucky with the storm.

I say potential because he still has plenty holes in his game but also in a super weak division. His wrestling gives him a chance against the weak division that is stand up heavy. I think Aspinall is the only one well rounded and athletic enough to handily deal with him. Maybe Acosta too.
