Purdue has completely stopped talking to Davis and Illinois has cooled off on him.I doubt he makes it to September for a visit. Hope I'm wrong. Illinois and Purdue have pushed hard for his commitment.

Are you aware of any particular reason why?Purdue has completely stopped talking to Davis and Illinois has cooled off on him.
Purdue can really only take one guard and Kevin Savage is apparently close to committing to them. Illinois I don’t really know why but I’m assuming they think they can buy whatever guard they really likeAre you aware of any particular reason why?
Keller Daugherty visited yesterday and today. Was it an official or unofficial visit? It does not show him having an Iowa offer.
According to 247 Sports Jaxson Davis is visiting Iowa on September 19th for the football game against UNI.
It seems like Keller Daugherty committed to Iowa. Crystal ball was put in for him to commit and he changed his Instagram bio to having the Iowa Basketball page in it
Seems like he's basically a 6'10 shooting guard that's still growing. Sign me up!
6'10" 205lbs....unrated.
Clearly, an under the radar recruit.

Kohnen to Iowa State
They must have really good ties to Wisconsin.
Scores from all 3 levels.
Rim protector.
Runs the floor well.
A lot to like.
Highlights from last month:
*Cayden DaughtrySounds like one of those kids who played guard til he had a late growing spurt that has resulted in a 6'10" skilled BB player.
Love those types of developing young players...Anthony davis went thru that same maturation and ended up the #1 player in country and in draft.
Another quiet balancing act is distribution of resources by class.
Keller is unrated by on3 ....he is probably not going to command as much as jax davis,a 4 star pg who we are pursuing.
Iowa probably has a budget and this addition might just free up enough resources to get Jax on board at a critical need position, pg.
In Ben I trust!
and not a slow stiffTwo words: Aggression and Elevation. That's really cool stuff.
Can we beat local deep pocketed school( Miami)*Cayden Daughtry
Are the team predictions fan voting?interesting. Jaxson would be a great get.

Yes. And I wouldn’t say they’re leaders for him.Can we beat local deep pocketed school( Miami)
and deep pocketed national champ( mich) , the 2 leaders for this pg?
Yes, if:With all those visits left in September and early October do the Hawks really stand a chance?
Any one of them would be amazing to get. I’d take any of them but Daughtry would be a home runWhy no discussions about Jamison's visit. Looks like a solid PG prospect. Is it that no one thinks we'll actually get a commitment or is it that Davis or Daughtry are better?
UConn, Louisville, Kentucky and Michigan. That's some serious competition with deep pockets. At least he is visiting, that's something. At least Ben is getting Cayden Daughtry on campus.
ESPN has him as a 5 star. Rivals and most everyone else have him as a 4 star.

He likely ends up elsewhere. If I was a betting man, I’d say we won’t hear anything more with TJ and Iowa until after Daughtry and Davis visit, if at all.Saw where he had a great visit. He would be a great get.
I don't disagree, but Ben and his staff have brought a new enthusiasim to Iowa that we haven't seen in a long time. It’s so refreshing to see a guy with energy and enthusiasm, coupled with a track record and current resume to sell. I’m still trying to wrap my head around Year 1 Ben McCollum, it feels like a fever dream.I don't disagree, but Ben and his staff have brought a new enthusiasim to Iowa that we haven't seen in a long time. I figured he might be a Michigan lean so it can't hurt. It will probably depend on who he is replaced with.I do wonder how Dusty May leaving Michigan would impact Michigans recruitment with Daughtry.
