if we are recruiting Euro League, we need to go after guys that have a bunch of K's, W's and Z's in their name and only played in gyms that were converted from former Nuclear Fallout Shelters.

The best thing about foreign players is that you can recruit 30 year olds who claim to be 21. It’s a great way to get a veteran squad.

Year 1 - 19
Year 2 - 20
Year 3 - 21
Year 4 - 22 (now)
Year 5 - 23 (next season)

I’ve seen the stuff about him having two years, I just don’t understand how that would work. Is that under the 5-in-5 rule or the current rules? Or maybe he’s still 22 when next season starts and it’s just a matter of what month his birthday is?
His birthday is in March, he would be 23 when the 27-28 season starts.

Pure delusion calling this kid an nba prospect. He’s already 22 with 3 years of pro ball and the nba isn’t even sniffing around him. 10 and 6 in some African league will equate to about 7 and 5 next year.

It’s not an African league, it’s the top Italian League. Former cat Nate Sestina is in it and averages 3 pts per game.

Italian, African… all the same. 😂

Point is the same, we need top end talent. That’s what we don’t have and he’s not that. If people think he’s gonna come in and be awesome then they’re in for disappointment.

He is a top end talent. He just hasn’t put it all together just yet.

Here’s ESPN talking about him in 2020 as one of the most promising future NBA players in the world:

And no…African basketball and Italian basketball are not the same. Do you even care about accuracy?

Yep, he averaged 15.3 and 8.3 in the Fiba Afrobasket and shot 40.9% from 3pt in only 23 minutes per game. The Italian league he plays in is the 2nd highest league in Italy and is comparable to high level D1. Haters going to hate no matter what. This isn't Big Z or Jelavic, they played in much lower level leagues.

So how is it one can spend their whole day posting on a message board but still be so connected to basketball all over the world from the US TO Italy to the Balkans all the way to sub Saharan Africa?

To be fair, the league he played in this year is rated quite a bit higher talent wise than the SEC.

You realize College Basketball season is over right? Slow months are involved in performance coaching, not to mention unlike you I have large gaps on the time I spend on here and post. With your 750+ names banned I'm surprised you've been able to keep this one so long. Congrats on that, maybe look in the mirror for time spent on here because I'm not sure you ever leave. Being unemployed must be enjoyable for you. Carry on, nothing to see here.

The Italian league has more top end talent than the SEC conference most likely.

I spend about 1/10 of the time you do on here. "Performance coaching" 😂😂 Sure thing Lee Ann. You're here posting literally all day every day and never right. Then you just move the goal posts

I like him, hopefully he can handle the SEC hack and hold defense. I do like that he is big enough just to shoot over it, surely with him and Milan the floor can be completely spread out and people will have to play us.

AND PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS GOOD let Mark Pope make a defensive team out of these guys or Mo Williams do it IDC.

I think offensively N’Daye will be fine here. I love his size, agility, and shooting ability at the 4. I hope he defends and rebounds well. That will determine a lot about how effective he will be for us imho.

I hope this Pope team is much better defensively and way improved on the glass. I think Kepnang will help with that a ton off the bench. He is huge and he rebounds/blocks shots well. We had been mentioned with him quite a bit over the years, I’m shocked he finally came.

I read through a few of the post. So let’s see, first he was one of the best foreign players and no way Ky is getting him, then it’s fake when he picked Ky and finally he sucks. The haters are truly pathetic

If he had gone to Louisville or Duke, the narrative would have been this kid is the second coming of Hakeem Olajuwon
