100% this!! If addiction is a factor it shouldn’t absolve him from the consequences of his actions ….ie being an alcoholic doesn’t mean you’re not getting a OWI if you’re caught driving drunk……they include getting mandatory treatment as part of the sentencing ordinarily"Integrity" would be helping Sorsby through his addiction after revoking his eligibility.
The amount of times this dude mentioned or alluded to Sorsby’s supposed addiction and recovery process, makes it pretty clear how Texas Tech is going to frame this in response to criticism. I would guess pretty much everybody besides TT fans see through it, but will the outrage reach a level where TT or the Big 12 be forced to do something?Paraphrasing:
"Since he has a clinically diagnosed addiction he doesn't need to take responsibility for wrongful actions related to his addiction."
What a joke
I absolutely don't know how... If this was Iowa doing this, I would be f'in furious allowing this to happen!I would guess pretty much everybody besides TT fans see through it
Spare me. His chance of playing in the NFL is slim to none. Has no remorse. Everybodies fault but his.Praying that this young student athlete can overcome this disease.
Maybe the athletes penalized for using PEDs are wishing they tried that one.Paraphrasing:
"Since he has a clinically diagnosed addiction he doesn't need to take responsibility for wrongful actions related to his addiction."
What a joke
Don't bet on itIf he plays, all it takes is one hit (hint hint).
Mid 2023 I threw all my Iowa gear in a bag and put it in my closet, and didn’t bring them out or watch games until Brian was fired. I only had to wait 2 weeks until he was “not renewed”, but I would have no problem dropping Iowa like a box of rocks over something like this.I absolutely don't know how... Taking responsibility is the core part of addiction recovery. This man is a lunatic.Paraphrasing:

Not sure, but you know damn well the partisan Mississippi North Supreme Court will/would throw any lawsuit out to protect Brenna Bird.Have any of the guys fro Iowa and ISU that got suspended the year and is some cases ruined their careers filed lawsuits on this **** yet? Such ********.
Fairweather.Mid 2023 I threw all my Iowa gear in a bag and put it in my closet, and didn’t bring them out or watch games until Brian was fired. I only had to wait 2 weeks until he was “not renewed”, but I would have no problem dropping Iowa like a box of rocks over something like this.
It would be more fun to throw quarters at them.If these student sections and fan groups aren’t showering Texas Tech with singles as they enter the field, something is wrong.
Ramblin' Gamblin' Man by SegerGotta crank Money For Nothin by Dire Strait when they enter the stadium.
Oh yah. Thoughts and prayers for sure. It's so sad when a young person is the victim of such a debilitating disease.Praying that this young student athlete can overcome this disease.
Hey, it's Texas Tech. They're just following their dictator's MAGA playbook. Do whatever the hell ya want, and make up bullshitt in a ludicrous attempt to explain the inexplicable. Buy some judge, and lie and cheat, and then lie and cheat some more. And just keep on doin' it and dare anyone to stop you.The amount of times this dude mentioned or alluded to Sorsby’s supposed addiction and recovery process, makes it pretty clear how Texas Tech is going to frame this in response to criticism. Calvin Ridley got a 1 year suspension for betting on the Falcons. He had taken a leave of absence from the team though due to a mental health crisis previously, so he was not an active roster member. What would the NFL do to a player who did the same thing?
Yep. If a sport wants to keep its fans, at least in large profitable numbers, it can't permit even the suspicion of shaving points or throwing games. If an active player wagered on their team I suspect it would be a lifetime suspension.
There you go again Duke, cut out the political BS.Hey, it's Texas Tech. They're just following their dictator's MAGA playbook. I think he was being very sarcastic (at least, I'd hope so).Spare me. His chance of playing in the NFL is slim to none. Has no remorse. Everybodies fault but his.
I did the same thing except it was much earlier in the year and instead of the closet, mine went into the outdoor trashcan to never return. Probably an irrational decision but I was irrational at the time from watching that **** show of an offense that hadn't improved for years.Mid 2023 I threw all my Iowa gear in a bag and put it in my closet, and didn’t bring them out or watch games until Brian was fired.
