1) BJG (not Big James Game) is alive, living a very private secluded life near Memphis in a heavily gated community.
2) Her net worth is around $100 million thanks not only to royalties from her song writing but also her astute investments.
3) She was an early owner of the Phoenix Suns and profited from some savvy real estate investments in California
4) allegedly, there are more lyrics to the “Ode to Billy Joe” song than were first recorded. They have never been shared. Rumor has it they might be released after her death.
