Praying for Milwaukee to win this oneMilwaukee goes yard and ties Auburn 2-2 in the 4th
come on, now how can we root against the most deserving, now 20 or 21 loss number 4 overall seed, who is in a game seven in a cake walk regional.Praying for Milwaukee to win this one![]()
We match up better with teams that don't have big time offenses IMO.....Rather have USC
he was 30 pitches over his season high and was obviously doneAggie pitcher went about 15 pitches too long.
Pretty similar to us holding GT to 11 runs over 3 games. Even though I get these are their 4th and 5th games of weekendI’ve seen USC hold A&M to 4 runs over 15 innings with their depth arms and I’m supposed to be scared of A&M’s lineup? Looks like we’ll never find out.
That is true. Ironically Tennessee a few years ago is the only one I recall in recent memory to use offense to win over their pitching. They had good pitching but that was one of the better hitting teams I’ve seen in CBB history.True but Ben McDonald mentioned it….Omaha is a pitchers friendly park and small ball usually wins
Yeah, it looks like USC is just playing better right now.I’ve seen USC hold A&M to 4 runs over 15 innings with their depth arms and I’m supposed to be scared of A&M’s lineup? Looks like we’ll never find out.
A&M's pitching was so thin, he was their best option. And he was first rate, until he just wore out.he was 30 pitches over his season high and was obviously done
Coach Forbes has said it multiple times during his weekly interviews with Tommy, it's just hard to hit your way to a championship. Not that we neglect offense, but that's why we always have such an emphasis on pitching and defense. It's also why, in general, "good pitching stops good hitting" became a baseball axiom almost as old as the game itself. That is true.
