I’ve seen USC hold A&M to 4 runs over 15 innings with their depth arms and I’m supposed to be scared of A&M’s lineup? Looks like we’ll never find out.

That is true. Ironically Tennessee a few years ago is the only one I recall in recent memory to use offense to win over their pitching. They had good pitching but that was one of the better hitting teams I’ve seen in CBB history.
Yeah, it looks like USC is just playing better right now.
Unfortunately, the nature of tournaments is that the teams that are playing well advance, and those are the ones you have to beat.
