Nice haul. When are you going to take me looking for cubes?
Wow. Butter and salt. Yum.
Enjoy!
I might just do that. When things are finished for me here, I'm heading west. It's just amazing out there; all of it.A good fishing friend called me, and said he had found 152, and I was packing my s.hit
I found 230, and he found 350+. I drove 5 hours and met him, and then we drove 20+ miles up steep a.ss mountains, that scared the s.hit out of me, a 1000 ft off the sides, and I was sweaty palms instantly. But 580+ Morels, was worth it.
Come to Colorado next year, and we will go get after them. My friend tracked us, and we done 6.3 miles the first day, and 4.8 the second, in some steep country. It was the most awesome Morel hunt, I had ever been on. A lot different then Ky. Hunting.

I wouldn't mind ending up in southern CO or northern NM. Montana is on the itinerary too. Utah could be a national park, itself.
Oh I’m one. I remember when I was a teenager my parents would go out morel hunting in WKY. My Dad’s simple fried morels with a bit of S&P are probably what started me on my foodie journey. I thought I hated mushrooms, and then I tried this meaty little bit of heaven. I was hooked. Not a lot of moral guys on this board
