Even so, in that situation I think a challenge is smart call, bases loaded no outsView attachment 1298805
would have been tight, looks like it might have just caught the pitch. just tip your cap on that one and dare him to do it again
There's no challenging in this tournament so it wouldn't be a smart call.Even so, in that situation I think a challenge is smart call, bases loaded no outs
All I will add is that he missed his spot on the pitch by 8 inches as well. That usually isn’t called a strike in that situation. All the graphics show it as very close. But it “looked” like more of a ball in realtime. Why does everybody keep saying it was an atrocious call when statcast shows that it was basically touching the zone? If it was a ball, it was a ball by 1/4 of an inch. I have a hard time getting outraged about that.
Well I asked if there was in my first post but no one responded so I assumed there was. How does SEC get it and we dont. $$There's no challenging in this tournament so it wouldn't be a smart call.
We hit a ball last inning that would have been on the concourse yesterday for a 3-run homer. It's been 4 outs.Dude has 50 ER in 63 innings to go with 83 hits and the HEELS can't touch him like he's Cy Young
Tip your cap. Helluva pitch in statcast. Just give that same call to Jason too.Why does everybody keep saying it was an atrocious call when statcast shows that it was basically touching the zone? If it was a ball, it was a ball by 1/4 of an inch. I have a hard time getting outraged about that.
I laughed when I saw that too.why is a CF playing deep against French lol
