International is obviously the next big thing now that we've entered this new pay for play era. You can see it with Duke's Amazon deal.

For me as a fan, its a turnoff. I absolutely get why programs are going to go this way, it was inevitable. So much untapped potential. But if our roster becomes overwhelmingly international mercenaries, I think for me personally as a fan, that'll be it.

Football at least is still predominately American. College sports and pro sports are SUPPOSED to be about different things. College is obviously going the way of pros. I get it, we can all see why things are evolving the way they are. It just feels like they're giving us less and less reason to keep caring about this stuff as fans.

It’s funny to me so many people think we are just scrambling the earth when literally over half the power 5 teams have been signing Euros left and right. When they do it it’s a huge deal and when Pope looks at one or offers he’s desperate. Someone please make it make sense?

I get this notion but international players are taking over nba and now college. Look at the elite eight and even sweet sixteen last year and those teams were full of international flavor. Duke was the only high level squad that didn't, but their star played the exact same way.

They're taking over because aau ruined basketball in the US. From early on, USA kids are taught essentially zero fundamentals and only to chase their own stats and their own individual success. Jasper is the latest example.

Ya the mercenary aspect of college basketball sucks but if UK is going to succeed they need to focus mainly on international. Ya its still year to year, but at least the given year wont be saddled with awful shots and me first attitudes. Instead it would be high level team basketball that will allow us to at least keep pace with the pack.

Last week a thread was nuked where nutjob was arguing with himself. Making fun of the “dumb” account (himself) that said he didn’t need an email to create an account. Funny how nutjob immediately created an account after the nuking but the second account (or the third actually in that thread) those “personas” didn’t return.

It would really suck to not have friends or a significant other to give your attention to. Responding to your own troll comments with other troll accounts at various moments throughout the day is psychotic.
