I'm sure I've told the story before, but we both studied music at Portland State U, overlapping for a semester. She was in high school, taking some college classes and was headed to Berklee the next year. Everyone in the jazz program knew she was going to be a bad ***, but never imagined she would blow up like she did.
No guitar or keyboard playing, but my daughter graduated from medical school today and she is a woman, so in honor of her I give this song:
