Actually… not quite yet…”still in high school”’My GOD, he's only a freshmen.
Bo was 19 August 2025 . Need to see the legislation in writing. He could only get 4 years although VA tech thinks he will get 5Which just underscores the abject stupidity of their current proposal. All states ban 20 year olds from competing as HS athletes and most ban 19yr olds so 19 or graduation doesn't change anyone's eligibility.
Your resigned “le sigh” posts never fail to crack me upYou think we expect nice things?
Not, if I understand correctly… clock starts with graduation from high school OR 19th birthday…Soooo.. if the 5 for 5 hits, could James since he's so young actually take a grey shirt and still be eligible since hes so young???
He would have to go to an actual prep school. You can't just take the year off anymore. Not, if I understand correctly… clock starts with graduation from high school OR 19th birthday…
So the super old graduates lose a year, but the super young graduates do NOT gain a year.
He turned 19 after competitive sports already started at the NCAA level so there's no reason for him to lose a year unless it's by specific sport start and the NCAA has never done that in the past.Bo was 19 August 2025 . He's going to get 5. They're letting this year be a grace period.Bo was 19 August 2025 . Need to see the legislation in writing. He could only get 4 years although VA tech thinks he will get 5
5. He didn't turn 19 until after senior year started.Bo was 19 August 2025 . Need to see the legislation in writing. He could only get 4 years although VA tech thinks he will get 5
I don’t know the rule on that… if he graduated with his class probably not… if he purposely left himself a few credits short, perhaps. He would have to go to an actual prep school. You can't just take the year off anymore.
The cesspool is at a rolling boil right now
Consider Jayden James. He graduations HS in June 2026 (next month). His eligibility clock would start at that time, which would be right around his 18th birthday.Which just underscores the abject stupidity of their current proposal. All states ban 20 year olds from competing as HS athletes and most ban 19yr olds so 19 or graduation doesn't change anyone's eligibility.
I'll have you know he won the prestigious 2018 Canada Cup with a 3-3 win over Mario Mason.Brands had 2 chances this spring to hire a coach from outside the program. He went 0-2.
I have nothing against Sorenson, and I'm glad he recovered from cancer, but what kind of freestyle chops does he have?
So if he was graduating next year he wouldn't?He's going to get 5. They're letting this year be a grace period.

So many things out about it and so much misinformation thanks for posting that I don't have X so I have never seen that beforeCorrect.
Yeah this is going to be a shitshow and is going to suck for kids coming out of highschool. Not sure i like 5 years sgraight upSo many things out about it and so much misinformation thanks for posting that I don't have X so I have never seen that before
He’s down from 232-233 at the US Open where he looked sluggish. Only 3 weeks difference, but you have to think his training prep was different for this tournament with that kind of drop. Hard for me to think he will ever get to 235 and maintain it effectively, but it’s possible. Also possible that he is just better in the 220s where his movement and gas tank are firing.Cole was 227.5 imagine he's 235 next year. He's continuing to develop his offense and is scoring in different ways
Lasers do that to eyes. BlindJames is definitely the future and is gonna be really good but him beating Caliendo right now is something I don't see happening.
Aiello is crafty and will cause some problems for Cole defensively
Yep imagine you had James winning bigLasers do that to eyes. Blind
Nope, I just don't trash talk fans boards. I just watch matches, plus James beating Cali is not a huge surprise if you have watched them wrestle.Yep imagine you had James winning big![]()
I am not sure how much is weight. He really just needs to get stronger. Another year in a college weight room will make a difference. Just keep adding strength is what I think is most important. He’s down from 232-233 at the US Open where he looked sluggish. Just a thought, and it is quite possible I am just full of crap on this one but yeah. It seems to me the issue is in the legs and core. He will get in and as he is working his technique he gets knocked off center and goes from the offensive wrestler to the defensive wrestler.I am not sure how much is weight. I wasn't talking trash at all. I was giving my opinion. Man you guys are hilariousNope, I just don't trash talk fans boards. I just watch matches, plus James beating Cali is not a huge surprise if you have watched them wrestle.
Woah easy on you guys...Some guys, sure... Now, I could have made a comment because I commented picking James before the match but honestly, why would I? You picked a multiple time national runner up who's graduated college over a highschool senior who's 17. Seems sensical to me, even if it ended up incorrect.I wasn't talking trash at all.
