Sold my 85 CJ-8 last year. When I lost the free garage for it, the FL sun/salt went to work.

No Way! Awesome car.
Just curious, (new or old)? Watcha Got?

Awesome. My first car was a red 69 Mach 1, but I got married.
This is my 2010 GT 500. Black, Stripe delete, moderately modified to around 680 HP

I ordered a black 2004 RX8 (like the one below) directly from the factory never having driven, or seen, one in person. They were not yet at any dealer in the Pittsburgh area. It was the best car decision I ever made. I loved the car but had to get rid of it 2 years ago because the maintenance costs were out of control. 😥 I remember the day I got it a high school kid said "That looks like it's going fast even standing still."

2017 Dodge Challenger Scatpack R/T Shaker 392. 1/3 for the model year (yes I have a printout from Chrysler based on options lol.) maybe 14k miles now? Goal is a 70 Cuda but this will never get sold so eventually it’ll be considered a “classic” at Carlisle lol.

I do not have one but probably will end up with two. My dad has a 65 Pontiac Lemans GTO, an unfinished rebuild though. He's 75, no way he gets it done so I will end up either keeping and trying to get it done or selling once he passes.

My FIL has a corvette split window coupe from the 63-67 era, I dont know exactly what year, I think 66 but not sure as I have only ever seen it 3 times and never for more than a few minutes. He keeps it in a garage under a tarp or its in a storage garage where he works on it. He's rebuilt and replaced the engine twice along with a few other items. He takes it to car shows all over and I think he loves it more than his kids/grandkids. My wife is the executor of her parents will, as we live close than her sister's family, and her father really wants that car to remain in the family even though none of us want it. He claims he was offered 200K for it, but I am not sure its quite that high. I think 200K is just the number he has invested in it over the years when you include the cost of any work done and storage.

The split window was only in 1963. If you get your hands on that car, do not get rid of it.

I have a 2006 Mustang GT. I bought it new the year my son was born and plan to make it his when he graduates from college and has a garage of his own to keep it in.
Wow. I bought each of my sons a compete box of baseball cards for the year they were born. You upped the game.

Gotcha, I'm guessing it has some mixed year parts then, because I know he mentioned something about 66 and ordering parts.
Probably. The 63-67 model was basically the same car, but the split window was only on the 63 model.

My 2013 CTS coupe. It will be a classic because I’m keeping it.
Also, picking up a 71 Chevelle 454 big block when it’s done.

1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1. View attachment 1290453
Nice. I had always wanted a 1969 or 1970 Boss 302 Mustang. My neighbor’s 69 Corvette with 3 deuces, one of only a handful made, has cured me of wanting a true vintage muscle car. He has had nothing but problem after problem with it. Eventually found out it had a cracked engine block.

Other cars I have had over the years include my Penn State car - 73 Pontiac Ventura 350/4 barrel. Triumph TR7, my always in the shop car. My favorite car from over the years - a 1986 Mazda RX7, which I had for 10 years. Also had a 2004 Mazda RX8, which I had to get rid of after 4 years because it wasn’t practical at the time for me. Currently my every day driver is a Lexus RC350 F-Sport, gray with blackout wheels. Very few made.

Finally, still have a bright yellow 1999 35th Anniversary Mustang GT convertible. Our Sunday good weather driving car.

My FIL has a classic car. '76 Dodge Dart Sport. He is the original owner. I could care less about it, but he loves it more than his daughters. We go to car shows so I can be a good SIL. He has won a bunch of worthless awards at Carilse and other shows. It was featured in a magazine. That is all cool, but I do not care. I hope my nephew (his grandson) wants it.

if you are in the Huntington, PA area this is happening this weekend.
