You don't realize how accurate that statement is... from owners of the R8.
V8 or V10?

I love their gated manual transmission - looks so cool. Congrats on the R8. My buddy just got an RSQ8 … the front brake rotors are as big as trash can lids. It’s quite the ride.

1. Pickup Trucks with a lift kit, no scratches on the bed and 26" rims and a fake set of balls hanging from the tailgate - Reason = They literally bought the vehicle, because they flamboyantly want to show off their narcissistic douchbaggery and got their money from a trust fund.

2. Old 1980's Mustang 5.0's that are 2 door Sedans with a trunk and have a nice rust job going on them. Yet these nut jobs that drive these things still think it is cool because it is fast... ?

3. Chevy Suburban or any SUV that is too big to fit in a standard garage. These vehicles are not necessary and people only buy them to show off. Most folks don't need seats for 7 and even if you did there are plenty of SUV's that have 3 rows of comfortable seating that get more than 12 miles per gallon in gas and can fit in your garage.

4. Old 1980's Cutlass Supremes that have 25" rims and a speaker system rattling the trunk... I would go as far as saying it is not just 1980's CS that do this, but when your rims are worth more than your vehicle something isn't right.

5. Tesla's and all full on electric vehicles. While I understand concept of electric vehicles and think it has potential to be a good idea, owning one now is 100% show and non-functional in it's current state outside of California.
Maybe a Suburban isn’t necessary for your life situation. I drove Suburbans for years to haul my kid’s buddies and our scout troop to camps to northern Minnesota, Colorado, Wyoming, Glacier NP Montana, and the Blackhills. That usually involved pulling a 3000 lb trailer. Now I use my Expedition to move family and haul large loads of stuff.

I like jacked up trucks, thick slabs of red meat, and large caliber hand guns. I don't really GAF what you like.
I like getting 400 miles in my quiet luxury car and then going to the gas station and only having to pay for 10 gallons of gas to fill it up, thick slabs of red meat and the sports of Football, Basketball and Baseball. I also like playing golf, drinking scotch, playing poker and getting outdoors. I hope that doesn't make me too big of a wuss

A quiet cabin and plenty of giddyup are pretty desirable as we get older

From the edge of town to our ski hill, it is 12 miles. The first 8 miles the road is relatively straight with a gradual 1200 feet elevation gain. The speed limit is either 40 mph or 50 mph. The last 4 miles has several hairpin turns and switch backs with an elevation gain of about 2600 feet. The speed limit is 35 mph. The base of the hill has an elevation of 4600 feet. There is a mile passing lane right before the last 4 miles of turns and curves. There is only one good stretch to pass a car on the last 4 miles of the road. An eighty-four-year-old Swiss born and raised man named Pierre, who spent most of adult his life in Vail (he has great stories about the old, old days of Vail), drives his BMW pretty fast up the hill is my main competition for the fastest driver. We both agree you have to get around Subaru drivers as fast as you can as they tend to be older, slower drivers who believe they are saving the environment by driving slower than everyone else. When people ask where I learned to drive so fast my quick answer "NEBRASKA!!!".

nah, I'm prob going full homo.. still looking at ev's,
EVs are interesting. Supposedly people dont want them used. Hopefully Dewalt comes out with a plug and play aftermarket option to replace used batteries. Would also consider Milwaukee. Not Ryobi though.

the word is, there are a lot of Tesla model Y's coming off lease in the 2nd and 4th quarters creating a nice price point especially in the 4th quarter, if you wanted to pickup a city car for south florida that plugs into your dryer outlet in your garage, that will then drive you, err me and a drumset in the back to some dive bar in north miami and back home late at night, with me only having to supervise.. well, this is the idea anyway
